Hendinia Choices:

Stunt - Fade Like The Sun

Simon Curtis - Beat Drop

3OH!3; Neon Hitch - Follow Me Down

And if unreserved...

Dolly Rockers - Automatic Girl

Stunt - Too Poppy For Me (which is saying something considering i gave points to Cherona :kink:), I wouldn't give it points 3/10

SC - I really like this 7/10, i know the quality is high this comp so might scrap points

303 - Like this the most 8/10, but im unsure how well it will do

DRs - This is great too, but we dunno if u have this :kink:

As the host, it's the peasants right to ignore your choices until we are forced to listen to them in the final :heehee: anyway;

Stunt - loved it ages ago, it's a bit old now for me. 8.5/10 - a few low points possibly

Simon Curtis - not a massive fan - 6/10 - zero points

3OH!3 feat Neon Hitch - It's above average, probably would grow but I generally find 3OH!3 irritating - 7/10 - probably zero points

Dolly Rockers - Good chorus but I'm over them I think, I can't find anything to get wildly enthusiastic with in this song but it's 'good'. - 7.5/10 - zero points probably :(

Maybe not what you wanted to hear, but remember I gave you 10 last month so I'm not all bad :magic: Here's how I predict they would do, if you care;

Stunt - mid-table, possibly lower

Simon Curtis - could be a hit actually, he's had some hype around him, top 10?

3OH!3 - can't see this going higher than mid-table

Dolly Rockers - top ten I would guess based on the fact they've managed to win this contest before and had another big hit as well!

5/10 - Stunt - Fade Like The Sun - just another dance song...very poor.

9.5/10 - Simon Curtis - Beat Drop - The best out of 4...and will definitely be your best option as a host.

9/10 - 3OH!3; Neon Hitch - Follow Me Down - I love this...If I haven't went with Vita last time, I would have definitely sent this.

7.5/10 - Dolly Rockers - Automatic Girl - pretty good but is it too safe for the host to send this kinda songs?

Very nice, although I wanted to send Funeral :cry: Her whole album near enough is worthy of BJSC attention though :drama:

I died inside when I saw Funeral so high in your charts. :( I don't know what to do - I guess it's a case of 'first come, first serve' then... :)

:lol: You should be pleased that Elin's finally got a smash in my chart (and #1 album :cheer:) after so many songs that charted but never graced my top 20 :heehee:

Anyway, I expect a few people will be after Elin next month bearing in mind how great her album is, so I'm not pinning my hopes on her. Shine always uses her as a permanent backup for a start and he's literally always amongst the first to the reservation thread :lol:

Shine is, thankfully, not interested. I downloaded her album last night, I'm certainly warming to Funeral, Hater and Tickles - aswell, as Toy Boy which I'd already previously heard and loved.

I was pleased - I love seeing Elin in peoples charts, but I knew exactly what it meant, Rich. :lol: Like I said in your chart, you might not need something as safe as Elin, if Sheelah wins. IF.

My favourites besides the tracks you mentioned, are Give It All Up (love the chorus/production/lyrics), Singing Goodbye (upsettingly gorgeous) and the songs I already know. There isn't a less than 8/10 moment on the album though.

Ah right :lol: That's a big if, and I've pretty much decided that it can't come higher than 5th - there's a solid top 4 in my mind and Psycho doesn't feature in that. But I long gave up on consciously trying to be 'safe' or 'risky', I just send my favourite current 'unknown' song and that's that these days. Even if I was hosting, the same rules would still apply. Funeral of course may not be my favourite 'unknown' song in 3 or 4 weeks time when the BJSC27 reservation/confirmation closes!

I'm sure Radio 1 are currently playing your BJSC 26 entry :o :lol:

Quite possibly! :lol: I'd be surprised if Chica Bomb were a hit here, but stranger things have happened!

i like :D, i prefer beat Drop though

Rob, you seem to be good at pre-empting Radio 1 playlist adds - Dan Balan has been added to the C-List believe it or not :P

Elin Lanto to be playlisted then? ;D

Hendinia Have Confirmed!

Elin Lanto has returned to Hendinia for BJSC - the fourth time she's been entered. She was first entered by Hendinia, scoring her highest position of 4th, she has since represented Angelicland and Lievant - but she's back once again, for a track from her album 'Love Made Me Do It', the biggest piece of electro-pop on there, it's 'Toy Boy' - can she get Hendinia back into the Top 5 after the minor blip that was Chica Bomb, or will she miss Top 10 second time round, with the big final on it's second outing.
