Back to Black isn't combined though. I read something about one of Robbie's Albums being just above TAke That in the music week report.

It was combined in the Music Week Top 20 list of 21st Century sellers, even though it's not officially combined for chart purposes. The Robbie album was released in 1998 so won't be on this list.

I'll post an update of the decade chart from my own data in January.

I need to get the end of year charts finalised first, then I'll have a look at the decade chart with sales up to the end of 2008.

The two Wino albums were always counted separately for some reason...

Thank God as well that she won't overtake Blunt. Overated bint doesn't deserve anymore acolades.

Brilliant for Leona and Take That though. Interesting to see how well 'The Circus' continues to sell as well as Leona's next release.

The OCC regarded the two versions as separate due to the amount of extra material on the deluxe ed. Since then the rules have changed so if it was released now it would have been counted as the same, but the rules aren't applied retrospectively (not very important for other old albums with more than one version at the moment though)

That would be amazing Dave, thanks! :D

Leona Lewis - Spirit including the deluxe edition has sold 2,688,992 million copies in the UK making her either behind or infront of the Scissor Sister's album which is currently #6

I hope Leona Lewis sells more than 3.2 million albums as I would rather not see James Blunt at the top!

I think Spirit will overtake the Beatles & will eventually land #5, because after this week she will be 2.7
Leona Lewis has sold around about 2,720,000 copies so hopefully this continues! I personally think either Coldplay or Dido should be at the top. I'm quite suprised that U2 aren't on here either, hmmm. strange.

The OCC have told me that, due to their rule change, they no longer count

'Thriller 25', & 'Back To Black Deluxe' as different Albums to the original

versions.

They have now added their Sales, so that 'Back To Black' & 'Thriller' will show

higher Totals in the future.

Oh pfftles.

The best album this decade is clearly the Cheeky Girls anyway.

Top Albums of The Decade (so far): 2000s

1 Dido No Angel

2 David Gray White Ladder

3 Dido Life For Rent

4 The Beatles 1

5 Coldplay A Rush Of Blood To The Head

6 James Blunt Back to Bedlam

7 Scissor Sisters Scissor Sisters

8 Keane Hopes And Fears

9 Norah Jones Come Away With Me

10 Coldplay Parachutes

That was last updated in Jan 2008 but I read somewhere that Dido has beaten Blunt again

This is all very out of date. Wasnt there a recent thread with much more up to date figures?

TT are definitely above 2,600,000 by now (ok - so its only in the UK) but I'm sure that's a more accurate figure for BW).

Norma

Yeah and Leona is scraping 2.9m now i believe. f*** knows where Amy is combined now too, and Robbies GH has been doing well again recently to name but a few
