Posted December 9, 200816 yr "One Step at a time" has just been announced as Sparks' third single in the UK. Her single 'No air', which reached #3 in the UK charts has proven to be one of the biggest hits of 2008, and after releasing a second single 'Tattoo', despite not reaching the top 20, she is onto her third single as just announced by Sony BMG UK... December 9, 200816 yr Author This was confirmed quite a while back, and there is a Jordin Sparks topic. ;) no probs, delete it. i just got it through in an email. tho i didnt think it was ever officially announced with a date
December 9, 200816 yr Topic can stay as a seprate thread if you ask me. Anyway, not the best choice, i was still holding out for a realese of Freeze. Anyway, hopefully it can make the top 40 considering it's getting realesead in January.

Last month would have been a perfect time for them to release it to boost sales for christmas. BMG have been real stupid latley in the states and UK...
December 9, 200816 yr 'Freeze' was the album's obvious hit, everyone knows it and they avoided it. Idiots. -_- This is a bit of a pointless release really, it didn't exactly set the US on fire and it won't do anything here.

Idiots. -_- This is a bit of a pointless release really, it didn't exactly set the US on fire and it won't do anything here. it hit 17 on the U.S charts which aint all that bad. But yea, "Freeze" would have been the real hit from the album, besides No Air. the guys over at jive are usually good when it comes to hit-making and promotion, and they done good up to 'One Step', but then it all halted..maybe they are waiting until around the Grammy's to release it? Tho it should have still been released last month and another single (permanent monday) around that time....idiots Edited December 9, 200816 yr by musicrocks1000
December 11, 200816 yr There is a U.S radio edit of 'Freeze' floating around the web. Does that mean it's going to be released? Anyway this song's alright but I doubt it'll do much. Probably another mini top 30 hit for her.
December 11, 200816 yr She's such a unlikeable person. A very average third single. As some have already said: "what is the point?"
December 11, 200816 yr Apart from that one c**k-up at the award ceremony I'd say shes really sweet and likeable
December 11, 200816 yr Apart from that one c**k-up at the award ceremony I'd say shes really sweet and likeable I agree. Don't know how anyone could call her unlikeable.
December 12, 200816 yr it hit 17 on the U.S charts which aint all that bad. Tho it should have still been released last month and another single (permanent monday) around that time....idiots I think over here in the UK this album was just to see which songs would do best to see what her next album should sound like, and be a bigger and better hit than this album was. 'Permanent Monday' however would be the most stupid single choice to make imo.
December 12, 200816 yr Good to see Radio 1 are getting into One Step At A Time then very early then, hopefully it can do well on airplay.
