Archie isn't awful. :o He could be better but he's still alright. I always think it's a sign of a good actor when they can play cheerful and lovely just as well as they can nasty and spiteful, which was REALLY highlighted watching him in Gavin & Stacey and EE back-to-back on christmas!

Spot on. Callum is hideous, even if I was a *tiny* bit turned-on when he stripped-off. BUT STILL.

Archie and Suzy have improved recently, they both had good Christmases. But at the time of the rate, yes, that newbie list was pretty awful.

Oh and Jark, with regards to your question on Bobby Davro, he was a warm-up act at a Barry Manilow concert recently, where he stood on stage and said the worst thing about being on Eastenders was having to kiss Linda Henry. He also offered the opinion that her face was like a "a bulldog licking p*** off a thistle".

On Cheryl Ferguson, he had the following to say; "I'm not saying she's big but I got on top of her and burnt my a*** on the lightbulb".

Cue a mob of angry 60 year old housewives.

Oh, I agree entirely. His head is square-shaped for one, and that is a never a good thing. It was just the removal of his clothes, I'm not sure why but it made me all 'ooh'. Clearly I'm sexually frustrated or something. IT HASN'T HAPPENED SINCE OK!?

47. Liam Butcher (3.41)

 

There's not really much to say on this one really, this is a complete non-shock. Kiddies make f*** all impact on soaps, and Buzzjack isn't so easily swayed by the "awwwww isn't he cute" factor as the dotty old grannies out there. And we already know that Buzzjack wouldn't p*** on any male if they were on fire. So no surprise that poor Liam came last out of the Jackson clan.

Liam's a pretty rubbish actor and he seems like a truly sad character. Sad as in lame, not miserable. Kill 'im offff.

To be honest I don't see that Liam is anymore irritating or twee than Tiffany. He's just suffering from the traditional Buzzjack bias.

46. Danielle Jones (3.82)

 

Now usually I like a good underdog. And on paper Danielle Jones should be up there. A meek, quiet, jittery girl, harshly rejected by her unwitting birth mother on many an occasion, blamed for nearly everything that goes wrong in a twenty-mile radius (I'm sure Gordon Brown will blame her for the credit crunch soon), and lacking in any self-confidence whatsoever. I should want to marry this girl!

But I just cannot warm to her at all. They've taken the underdog thing TOO far, you just get tired and frustrated with her failing to stick up for herself. Whenever somebody is unpleasant to her, you just yawn and wait for the next scene, because it's just part of the everyday EE way of life. Go to the caff, open up the stall, give Danielle a good kick, have a liquid lunch at the Vic. And repeat.

She pulls most of the misery on herself the stupid girl; when is she just going to bloody tell Ronnie???

In all, not one of the most successful of EE's recent additions, but one we're stuck with for the foreseeable future.

No-one but Danielle knows at present, though I think Stacey knows she came to Walford to look for her real mum. They gave up all potential dramatic shock though; they had Danielle keep on looking at a locket with Ronnie's photo in it.

 

Danielle's face is one of her assets; she's nailed the rabbit-in-the-headlights look. It's become permanent.

I think Danielle is ok, but seriously how long is the 'Ronnie doesn't know her daughter?' storyline go on for.. boringg!

I don't know the details but I think it's do to with a letter and Archie. Ronnie wrote a letter to the father of her daughter and I think Danielle let the reply get into the hands of Archie who burned it before Ronnie could read it.

 

But the other day Ronnie helped her so maybe the storyline is going to progress soon?
