What? I thought the secret was already out in the open. How long are they going to drag this storyline for.

Massive LOL at the picture

Well it did look as if they were going to drag it out forever,

but apparantly next week Danielle is made homeless and Ronnie takes her in, so maybe it will all be coming out soon?

45. Billy Mitchell (3.88)

Our first long-runner to depart. To begin with, we've only been losing the newbies, the bit-part players, and the truly atrocious from the rate, which was quite understandable and no great loss. But now it's time for the big names to fall, and first up is the Eternal Loser of Walford.

I mentioned that part of the problem with Danielle lies with her CONSTANT failings and consequent kickings. She doesn't get a let-up, and is doomed to walk a life of never-ending misery. I should actually have saved that point for poor Billy Mitchell. Not a week goes by without some form of heartbreak for poor, brave Billy; whether it be his wife leaving him, his kids being taken away, being disowned by the Mitchells, a business going under or being made homeless for the 47th time. And it's tiring. It's got the point where they could crown Billy the King of England with Angelina Jolie as his Queen, and you couldn't be happy for him, because you KNOW that would be the year of a violent republican uprising and he'd AGAIN end up alone and homeless. Even now on EE there's going to be no let up for him; Jay is still to find out Billy's role in his dad's death, and moving in with Janine Butcher can only bring slow PAIN.

It's a shame because Perry Fenwick can actually give some touching performances when Billy gets all upset and weepy, but the more heartbreak he goes through, the less you care. And I guess a sobbing man isn't very attractive, and so Billy falls whilst the likes of Brenda Boyle and Winston the Stallholder survive.

No.

Mother's Day apparently

I just wish they would stop giving Billy the loser storylines, why doesn't he just get back with Honey and leave the show in a 'happy' ending haha

LOL. Billy <3 Perry is actually an alright actor. Not in the 'Pezza 4 Oscar' sense but in the 'We ALL know a Billy' sense. Poor Billy. Finishing this low is surely down to the storylines he's given and not the character himself :( It was ridiculous when he and Honey were ruined. They were so perfect as a couple. If Honey was leaving they should've written Billy out at that point so they could live (or die) together. BAD EE. (n)

Poor Billy, wish him and Little Mo could have been happy together or at least with Honey, her axing was just pointless.

I should HOPE SO

I LIVE for these results

Well not QUITE but it's going that way...

46. Danielle Jones (3.82)

Now usually I like a good underdog. And on paper Danielle Jones should be up there. A meek, quiet, jittery girl, harshly rejected by her unwitting birth mother on many an occasion, blamed for nearly everything that goes wrong in a twenty-mile radius (I'm sure Gordon Brown will blame her for the credit crunch soon), and lacking in any self-confidence whatsoever. I should want to marry this girl!

But I just cannot warm to her at all. They've taken the underdog thing TOO far, you just get tired and frustrated with her failing to stick up for herself. Whenever somebody is unpleasant to her, you just yawn and wait for the next scene, because it's just part of the everyday EE way of life. Go to the caff, open up the stall, give Danielle a good kick, have a liquid lunch at the Vic. And repeat.

She pulls most of the misery on herself the stupid girl; when is she just going to bloody tell Ronnie???

In all, not one of the most successful of EE's recent additions, but one we're stuck with for the foreseeable future.

LOOL  It doesn't help when played by a crappy actress. :(

LOL at Billy too. Wouldn't it be great if he won the lottery and buggered off for all eternity?

Well quite. Although EE had a good year in 2008, some VERY dodgy casting decisions were made.

IN: Callum, Danielle

STAYING: Ben

GONE: Honey, Yolande, Keith

WTF?

anymore results? :)

No.

Oh Jark. I'm strangely touched...

Generally I agree with the comments on Billy. He's not one of my faves, but #45 is still ridiculously low, especially considering some of the names still to pop up.

I guess the Honey axing may have had it's affect too. Billy and Honey made a very endearing couple, and I really don't get why she was axed. There was SO much mileage there, not least with a Downs child. It's disappointing to see EE cop out from having to deal with that one. Watching Billy and Honey try to bring up a Downs child could have potentially been a GREAT storyline if handled properly.

And having Honey by his side helped counter-balance the tedium of his eternal loserhood.

In fairness Shoat, regardless of your slightly worrying Yolande worship, she had to either GO or become FUN again. Her act of going round pouting and tutting at people living their lives had become so tiresome.

I miss the Yolande of OLD, the Yolande who made Dot wince by discussing her still-active sex life!

44. Lucy Beale (3.94)

Clearly being groomed to be the next big bitch for when Charlie Brooks gets bored and buggers off again. So it's a shame that Melissa Suffield just ISN'T VERY GOOD :(

There's just NOWHERE near enough malevolence there. Whether she's teasing her brother, rejecting her father, or having a strop with poor, brave attempted-father-killer Lauren Branning. And please, no "she's just a child" excuses again. Jay and even Abi have proven that kids don't have to be $h!t.

So yes, watch me eat my words in 2015 when she becomes the best villain in TV history and single-handedly blows up the Albert Square, Coronation Street and Emmerdale Farm with Ben Mitchell tied to a missile.

Well I quite agree, but I just saw NO reason why she couldn't have been made fun again. EE is lacking a figure of jovialty,; someone who can sing, dance, laugh and carry off some ridiculously fruity outfits, and Yolande had done it before.

And I don't see why poor Angela Wynter had to be punished for the mistakes of the WRITERS. THEY turned Yolande into a moaning old harpy.

LOL, i like Lucy, the actress isnt brilliant and is over-used amazingly at time though

Now THIS is an OUTRAGE

AN OUTRAGE!

Melissa Suffield is brilliant and I will hear not a bad word said against the gal! Lucy is so fabulous with her stony-faced put-downs. EFFORTLESS. She's so COOL about her meanness; she knows FULL-WELL what a conscience is and how much credibility she'd LOSE if she even THOUGHT about adopting one!

Now all go and do lines. I want 'Melissa/Lucy is fabulous and will one day be a sexy, bikini-clad Beale empire-ruiner' twenty-five times.

I don't dispute THAT, she'll just be a wooden, sexy, bikini-clad Beale empire-ruiner.

But this is the APPEAL

GOSH

It's lost on the BJ folk I see. Lucy would be unphased though. I imagine her response to this thread would be 'Sad. Get a life or somethin.'

It's so true about Danielle. Tuesday's episode was another "heartsinker". JUST BE DONE WITH IT WOMAN.
