This Is My Ultimate Top 50 Songs Of 2008, Judged By Ear And Not Chart Related Stuff Because The Chart Started Half Way Through The Year & Therefor Would Be A Bit Pointless. The Top 50 Will Be All Done By Today Sunday 14th. Comments Needed And Opinions Are Highly Welcome. Also My Regular Chart Will Be Up After The Official UK Top 40. Now Lets Get Going

50. Miley Cyrus - 7 Things [2-2-8-24-31]

A very good Miley Cryus track kicks things off with "7 Things" from her album "Breakout". The video is cheap and the miming is awful but the song is a teenager girl anthem and I think we can all relate to that.

49. Madonna feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland - 4 Minutes [23-38]

It's certainly not ground breaking, it's certainly not fresh, it's certainly not a good era full stop but lets face it "Tick Tock Tick Tock" will never EVER leave your mind

48. Britney Spears - Piece Of Me

A very strong track from "Blackout" and deserved to get to number one. Even though she wasn't on top form when making this song it's still amazing. Welcome back to normality Britney

47. P!nk - So What? [8-8-6-10-10-19]

"Funhouse" is amazing! and it was a very good idea to release this record first as it shows a little bit of the emotion found on the album, however this song loses it's charm very quickly and the "na na na na na na" doesn't seem interesting after 15th lesson

46. Jennifer Hudson - Spotlight[20-11-15-27]

It's been an awful year for this amazing woman. She started with the "Sex & The City Movie" and a great album and then that awful tragedy happened with her family. It's just awful. Anyway I love this song, it's catchy woo-hoo call out and strong lyrics make this girl one of the best reasons to watch "Dream Girls"

45. Leona Lewis - Forgive Me [33-22-12-12-3-6-16]

A very interesting single from Leona Lewis. I love the catchy opening bit and her voice but I don't think that this kind of music suites her really

44. Kylie Minogue - The One [30-30-33-38]

It could've been a huge hit for Kylie but since it go no promotion and was changed to a digital release it didn't stand a chance. The Freemason remix is an anthem though

43. James Morrison - You Make It Real [7-13-23]

A lot of the songs so far have had a good run but then fall out after a few weeks and Morrison's first track from his 2nd album is no exception. Whilst it's very good it's not as good as songs like "Wonderful World" and "You Give Me Something"

42. Girls Aloud - Can't Speak French

the 2nd song that didn't chart in the Just Adam's chart is Girls Aloud's last single taken from their monster of an album "Tangled Up". I always wanted this song to be a single and I was so glad when I picked up CD single and found a french version of this song. Very Clever B)

41. The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name

I heard "Great DJ" before this song and I thought that the band were brilliant. I'm still a bit confused how this managed to get to number one but oh well. I actually have a signed copy of this single somewhere

40. Kaiser Chiefs - Never Miss A Beat [18]

I should've given this a better chart run than just one week. It's a great Kaiser track and it's true what they say. "It's Cool To Know Nothing"

39. Janet Jackson - Feedback

Now we enter the "F Zone" as Ferne & Reggie would say. Janet Jackson's "Feedback" flopped very badly in the UK and so did the album "Discipline" but on Adam's Friday Chart it got to the top 5 and stayed their for a while. Unfortunately the single didn't enter the Just Pop chart

38. Annie - I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me

It is a great pure pop record and it has a sweet sound and is still quite innocent. Again this song didn't chart any of my charts which is so upsetting

37. Sharleen Spiteri - All The Times I Cried [6-13]

Texas girl Sharleen went solo early this year and her music was totally different to her bands music. The album did really well but the singles didn't. Shame

36. Mutya Buena feat. Amy Winehouse - B Boy Baby

Released at the very beginning of the year was "B Boy Baby" from Mutya ex-Sugababe Buena. The single flopped big time, mind you so did much of her solo stuff. Now come on everyone bounce and play those trumpets

48. Britney Spears - Piece Of Me

47. P!nk - So What? [8-8-6-10-10-19]

46. Jennifer Hudson - Spotlight[20-11-15-27]

45. Leona Lewis - Forgive Me [33-22-12-12-3-6-16]

44. Kylie Minogue - The One [30-30-33-38]

43. James Morrison - You Make It Real [7-13-23]

42. Girls Aloud - Can't Speak French

40. Kaiser Chiefs - Never Miss A Beat [18]

39. Janet Jackson - Feedback

38. Annie - I Know Ur Girlfriend Hates Me

37. Sharleen Spiteri - All The Times I Cried [6-13]

36. Mutya Buena feat. Amy Winehouse - B Boy Baby

Verry good!

35. Madonna - Give It 2 Me [11-7-29-39-X-23-26-38-34]

Eeek! 2 Madonna songs already, it can't be? Well actually yes. Whilst this song is miles better than 4 Minutes it's still flatter than ASDA smart price lemonade. The Paul Okenfold remixes are really good though. But this song doesn't like leaving my chart. It re-entered a few weeks back and keeps floating around the bottom.

34. Sugababes - Denial

Ooooh! Change was good for the Sugababes. After the success of 'About You Now" and "Change" (both Friday Chart Number Ones) they released their final single "Denial" and have tough competition against Girls Aloud. Well I know who won in my personal battle.

33. Alphabeat - 10 000 Nights

Hello I'm looking for a ABBA kind of band, possibly from Sweden? Oh Ya! You Enjoy Alphabeat! Yes, they finally brought cheesy pop back into our little UK charts and our own personal charts

32. Miley Cyrus - See You Again [15-5-40-31-31]

Yay! I personaly think that we all have a 12 year girl inside all of us and that is why we love Miley Cyrus soo much  This song has more energy than a can of red bull, loves it!

31. Goldfrapp - Happiness

Goldfrapp have had a great year with an amazing album "Seventh Tree" and have released some great songs from it. Here is the 1st of 3! songs from them. "Happiness" is a great almost feel good tune and the video puts a smile on my face.

46. Jennifer Hudson - Spotlight[20-11-15-27]

30. Lady GaGa - Just Dance

"I've Lost My Phone" I haven't charted this song yet but expect it to chart really high this week. I love this record baby, the intro reminds of "Afraid" from Nelly Furtado as well and I like that song as well. Electro Pop is back

29. Natasha Bedingfield - Pocketful Of Sunshine [37-36]

 After the flop of N.B. in 2007 Natasha headed off to America to release her U.S. version called "Pocketful Of Sunshine" where this sunshine feel good anthem was released. It's gorgeous! I can't seem to find any video for it though because Sony are tight BEEEEEEPS

28. Kylie Minogue - In My Arms [3]

How Do You Describe A Feeling?. This is my favorite single from "X". It's video is so colorful and the song is a great dance record.

27. Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl [4-9]

I'm sorry, but this is still a classic track. Katy Perry reached number one in nearly every country and that's not bad for a song about sexual experimentation (Wow I can't believe I spelt that right the first time)

26. Alanis Morisette - Not As We

The first time I heard this song it bought a tear to my eye. It's the beautiful work of Alanis Morisette  I wasn't aware that this was released a single and so did not chart :o . I can't stop listening to it

25. Duffy - Mercy

We Are Half Way There! So at number 25 is a UK number one single from Welsh girl Duffy. Released from "Rockferry" early in the year it reached the top of the UK chart along with her album reaching number one as well.

24. The Ting Tings - Shut Up & Let Me Go [37-38]

Here is the next installment of the Ting Tings. After the number smash "That's Not My Name" made number one the dynamic duo released "Shut Up & Let Me Go" which was used in the iPod commercials. And may I just say one word! HEY!

23. Ashlee Simpson - Outta My Head

Some more flop pop goodies here! Ashlee Simpson's latest attempt was really good and "Bittersweet World" is one of my favorite albums of 2008. But the rest of the world doesn't agree with the genius of this song.

22. Britney Spears - Break The Ice [6]

OMG! No Video Was Avliable! Let's Thank Music Companies For Ruining YouTube. Anyway, Break The Ice was Britney's last single from the "Blackout" album. It made the top 20 in the UK and a rubbish cartoon video is all we have. But it's still hot

21. Goldfrapp - A&E

No Goldfrapp songs have entered my latest charts but did very well on my Friday Chart. A&E was their first single from "Seventh Tree" album and is so simple and beautiful. I make sure this song never leaves my iPod

20. The Killers - Human [34-31-19-24-24]

At first I wasn't really paying attention to the new Killers song because I thought that after the amazement of "Sam's Town" I didn't think the new stuff would be as good. Obviously I was extremely wrong, "Human" is a beautiful song, whilst it's not slow it still has a haunting sound like previous songs.

19. The Pussycat Dolls - I Hate This Part [13-15-16-19-13]

It's not as good as "When I Grow Up" but it's still a lovely ballad. These songs from the Dolls show that there more than just sex with legs and proves that they can hold notes and can give emotion in their songs.

18. The Ting Tings - Be The One [17-5-16-14-25]

This is my favorite single from The Ting Tings. It's got a great Blondie feel to it. It was the 4th single from their "We Started Nothing" album but didn't do as good as SU&LMG and TNMN.

17. Kylie Minogue - Wow

WOW WOW WOW! It's the pop anthem of the year, it as to be. Have you heard anything so poppy this year? if you have it's from probably been made by Kylie Minogue. "Wow" was released as the 2nd single from "X", it should've been the first single because it would've made a bigger impact. No sing-a-long with me

16. Alanis Morrisette - Underneath

   . It took her 4 years to make a new album and it flopped bigger than a whale  But it didn't deserve too, with the pure brilliance of this single "Underneath" which was number 100 in the UK charts. I much prefer this song to any other well known Alanis track like "Ironic" or "Crazy". Viva Alanis Morisette and all her glory
