This contest is all about Herzebania - they deserve the win :)

Well I'm glad we're both fans of each others songs anyways! We do seem to be the two that most people have predicted for victory...

We'll probably come 5th and 9th

KoS will join the club of 2 time winners this month :kink: :cheer:
i'm starting to wonder if i could have finished higher next month instead of being in the shadow of ice and release me.....
shadow of ice

lol

I think people are well aware of Lorel and I certainly don't think you're being overshadowed by anyone! Ashton are a dead cert' for the top five and certainly contenders for the win with a far broader appealling song than ice

How do you enter the contest, I've looked but can only find stats threads! Thanks

You've just missed out, dude. The contest started yesterday :(

lol

Stop being modest. Ice is just

I wouldn't say Lorelei is top5 cert. or a contender for the win. i'd be very happy with low top 10

I'd be very happy just to qualify for the final

Lights has more chance of winning than Alone but they should both finish top 5, I just think that Ice might cross over to the 'alternative voters' whereas Alone is too pure pop to probably appeal as much, but we shall see :o

But Ice doesn't have the same immediate punch as Alone or especially Release Me. I think Little Boots has an already established fan group which will push her up there too (hopefully along with Maggie B), Alesha is the strongest slow song, so she'll get those votes - I just don't think Lights has quite as much going for her...

Loving Sf2 btw - by far the stongest!

i think your right, Ice has a far greater appeal. Alone is quite pop, but i would also say there was some strong electro influences.

Ice does have a punch, you just need to give it 2/3 listens and then the hook is stuck in your head.

yes it does, I loved it from the first listen

Inner Massivia Herald Tribune

Attacktonia received the first of what the population hope is many BJSC XIII visits today. The early bird into town catching the proverbial promotional worm was the entry from The Kingdom Of Shadow, Lights. The young Canadian singer/songwriter performed a perky two song acoustic set in the intimate Lively Lounge at the Mezzanine Bowl to great acclaim. The performance was streamed live on MassiviaNet, and will be a feature item on tonight's The Late Late Culture Show on IMTV1. Lights will also be interviewed by esteemed music broadcaster Ghouls Collander about her nascent career and her entry into BJSC XIII.

It was of course highly appropriate that The Kingdom Of Shadow was the first nation to visit Inner Massivia for this edition of the BJSC, as their entry Belinda received the first 12 points ever awarded by our country in a final when we debuted last month in BJSC XII.

Professor Sir Quintas de Cancellara, President of Inner Massivia, personally greeted Lights after her performance and wished her and The Kingdom Of Shadow good luck in the competition. We hope to see them in Kopečka.

There is no doubt in my mind that had this leaked 48 Hours earlier JRK-off would have won BJSC XIII because despite this track being cheaper than Mr Cheap getting bird seed at a Poundstore this track is amazzzingg:

Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You

It certainly would have got Nonsuch's 12 points.

I really don't rate much of the new KC track. :(

It rips off SUBG, just "updated" with a few electro effects, and it's pretty much fifth rate. She's capable of much better.

I like it, you can very much tell its a Dr Luke production.

i can hear a little About You Now in it.

yeah the verses have the same electro bass sort of sound don't they!

It's a good song and would certainly have gone top five but I'm not sure if it would have run away with it, I think Release Me would beat it for being more original and equally as good

I think I've found Dalisska's next entry and it's not an English song either so maybe she can break the barrier for languages.....maybe. :P
