Rachel Stevens- So Good

one of the best songs of 2005, actualy the past couples of years really. It only reached number 10 in the chart and spent 3 weeks in the top 40, *sob*

'I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)' was far better and did worse. :(

Infact you could question why the Come And Get It album did so badly whilst her horrid first album did so much better, Come And Get It was such a solid gem of a pop album.

i prefer this to ISNA(BHWA) yes she mimed the promotion for so good, but the crowd seemed so into her which what i don't understand. I blame Negotiate With Love for this.

"How did it flop so badly?", could be said about countless decent tunes I'm sure.

As far as I'm concerned, Zero 7 for example, should have been huge by now.

The problem wasn't 'Negotiate With Love' at all, or any of the singles she released. The problem was her because she has no credibility, if a big name popstar had released these tracks and the album it would have been huge and very well received. :(

Because the UK has no taste :(

All three singles from Come & Get It were fantastic especially So Good & I Said Never Again. I still have unrealistic hopes we shall someday get a third album from Rachel.

Rachel used to release such pop gems back in the day: Sweet Dreams My LA Ex, Some Girls, So Good and I Said Never Again were all amazing.

Come And Get It was arguably the best pop record of 2005, songs like Nothing Good About This Goodbye, So Good, Negotiate With Love, I Said Never Again, Crazy Boys and Dumb Dumb are real pop gems that deserved a much better recognition.

I'm sure if this album would've been released by someone like Britney, Kylie or Madonna, it would've gotten all the attention and praise.

So Good was the best release from the album imo, I Said Never Again wasn't that good imo :(

she was ahead of her time, electropop is 2009, not 2005

So Good and ISNA (BHWA) are stunning pop tracks and her second album was fantastic

So Good is my fave Solo Stevens song  It deserved so much more and I agree with everyone else really, the album deserved so much more!

It's true. This song fits well with songs like The Loving Kind.

It was only really in the last couple of years that people have realised that liking "pop" is acceptable, I think that was one of the problems with Rachel Stevens. Even though the album got good reviews and had good singles people wouldn't want to be seen dead buying a Rachel Stevens. Now people will buy GA albums in droves, who didn't have much more credibility than Rachel Stevens in 2005.

I wish she'd try again and release another album, i think she could have a lot of success now that pop is in and itunes is around now too, CAGI was such a great album, I just recently started listening to it again, I'm really into I Will Be There and Secret Garden, but back in 05' i thought So Good was going to at least be top 5 and i think everyone else did too. I was so sad to see it barely scraping the top 10 in the midweeks.
