May 2, 200916 yr Author it takes someone ages to post it? As I said earlier I happen to work! Posting the chart immediately isn't first priority when I get home on a Friday night and unlike those who have decided to start posting the chart ahead of me over the last few weeks like its sort of competition I don't just copy and paste it from the chart-track or irma websites - I put it onto my spreadsheets and then format it. The commentaries which I add most weeks also require some research courtesy of the spreadsheets and paper files which I have built up over the last 20+ years. If you want to check up the amount of work I've put in check out the various UKMix links at the start of the thread. Of course if thats not good enough for you I'll let the others continue here, there are other forums where I will continue to post the thread.. And no-ones saying the charts shouldn't be discussed until I post them...... the only thing that pisses me off (if anything) is that some newcomers start posting the charts wholesale in a thread started by someone who has been posting the charts here for many years.... This is Dylan’s 33rd studio album and his first since ‘Modern Times’ which debuted at No1 in 2006. Lady Gaga’s ‘The Fame’ dips out of the Top 2 for the first time in three months, down to No3 this week, but heading a quartet of female soloists with Pink, Beyoncé and Lily Allen at No4, No5 and No6 respectively. Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club have the next new entry at No7 with their second studio album ‘The Beautiful Untrue’ – way ahead of their first album ‘Be Yourself’ which was released in 2002 and peaked at No29 the following year. Less than 200 sales separate the Top 4 singles this week, but it’s Lady Gaga who climbs back to the top of the pile with ‘Poker Face’ after a seven week break, during which time she never dropped out of the Top3. A.R. Rahman & The Pussycat Dolls hold steady at No2 with ‘Jai Ho!’ ahead of Eminem who drops to No3 after one week at No1 with ‘We Made You’ and Ciara at No4 with ‘Love Sex Magic’ (feat. Justin Timberlake), up from No7. Tinchy Stryder has this week’s highest new entry at No8 with ‘Number 1’ (feat. N-Dubz), his second appearance this year on this chart following ‘Take Me Back’ which reached No16 back in February. Rahman & The Pussycat Dolls drop to No3 with ‘Jai Ho!’ ahead of Calvin Harris at No4 and U2 who have the highest new entry at No5 with ‘Magnificent’, the second single to be taken from ‘No Line On The Horizon’. The next new entry is at No15 for Irish Eurovision hopefuls Sinead Mulvey & Black Daisy with ‘Et Cetera’ – they need to reach No5 to match the chart performance of last year’s entry ‘Irelande Douze Points’ by Dustin. Christy Moore takes a third week at No1 on the Album Chart with ‘Listen’, heading a Top 4 unchanged from last week – Dylan at No2, Lady Gaga at No3 and Pink at No4. May 8, 200916 yr Cool! Amazed that Tinchy is number one, it seems like the kind of song that gets UK number one but low top 10 in Ireland... How did Take Me Back do? And did N-Dubz even have an Irish hit before? :o Take Me Back only peaked at No.16, even though it is, in MY opinion, a far better song. One of the best of 2009 so far. As for N-Dubz, they have never cracked the top 50 once before in Ireland! Although I think their album may have scraped into the top 50....

I'll copy and paste the full charts at that time and will then edit the post with the formatted version over the weekend... Sounds good to me!
