It's the quality of the skating, it's worlds apart regardless of a trip or a dropped hat, Norma's point is very valid, while she doesn't like Ray, the standard of his skating is just a different league!

Jessica was absoloutely fantastic this week. Brilliant, smooth performance.

I think we have the best 3 in the final. Donal (Improved with every performance), Jessica (Consistant, whilst still improving) and Ray (Been consistant, and been getting the best scores throughout.)

Jessica FTW!! :cheer:

It really does take a lot to pull off performance of such flawlessness and my respect TOTALLY goes out to all the contestants. My fave was definitely Zoe (right throughout) but the left overs sure deserved their spots, each amazing and always consistant. Can't really pick a fave at all after Zoe! GA's performance of Untouchable was absolutely AMAZE too. Shows like these are so much more exciting for me to follow in general, in comparison to American Idol, Big Brother which I'm sick to death of now! - predictable, boring and old. The likes of Mark Burnett need to incorporate something completely new and out of the ordinary for reality tv.

Ray for the win

Its a shame Zoe was prematurely kicked out, her in the final would have actually been an amazing top 3 but oh well...

Oh and Donal was atrocious on sunday, i think i actually would have preferred Coleen to get through just for the whole comedy of it!

I found Zoe quite boring TBH. She wasn't too bad, but she didn't improve too much either IMO.

And the Judges blatently only voted off Colleen coz of her back problems. They seemed quite cheery and happy to boot her off LOL

Colleen was SO BAD :/ the worst contestant there and yet she kept sneaking through each time over contestants much better than her , what a mood kill! I'm starting to think it was all just a joke and added entertainment to keep Colleen around .. Its no wonder the judges almost seemed like they were loling. LOLZ and Ray should easily pull off the win, very deservedly ..

It will be a real sense of victory for Ray when he wins. You can just see the little Cheeky Chappy Mk II grinning all the way back up the M1! A bit like Red Rum being pleased as punch in winning a race against a load of seaside donkeys!

The whole point was about improving ... and Ray hasn't improved much ... he was quite brilliant to start with and is brilliant now. Whereas the others started with absolutely nothing and have definitely improved tenfold.

I didn't get that point the first time you said it and I don't get it now. He can't be seen negatively for having a brilliant start, point is he has kept his standard up throughout, he's hardly going to become an Olympic standard skater! The only reason the others have improved was because they were $h!t to begin with!
I agree with Adam, they were all on equal terms right from the start and if his hard work established and maintained brilliance and consistancy in his performance he sure as hell deserves the win! As much as the others improved, they're still not up to his standards which is why the winner would be judged on overall performance and not improvement. And tbh the 'improvers' always finish second best in these type of things so there's no doubt in my mind that Ray will win .. Would be CRIMINAL if he didn't.
But in shows like this, I (personally) like to see people improve. I don't see the point otherwise, it get's too boring if they were all the same as they were when they started the show. This was just an excuse for Ray to get himself back into the limelight IMO. (I know they all probably did it to boost their careers  but Ray seems the most desperate IMO)

It was a bit of a joke keeping her in, she clearly wasn't the most talented. Coleen is a very likeable person though and the thing with contestants being an active part of a show shown every weekday is that it's a bit of a boost for them. (it's kept a few GMTV presenters on shows like this for longer than they deserved) Coleen being on Loose Women meant that she could appear on the show every Monday after the show and thank voters/look at clips of her performances and throughout the week and on Fridays there would be reminders to watch and vote for Coleen. So it's not wonder she's (probably) been topping the public votes for the last few weeks, none of the other contestants have this kind of platform.

I don't think I'll watch the final, I only watched it for Coleen and I don't like any of the contestant left. Jessica is alright but she wont win, she's been in the bottom two with high scores too many times.

Kath did you actually watch the first show of this series? No way was he at the same level as the others. Even at that early stage he was ten times better than his nearest rival (which was probably Jessica). As Jessica is almost as good as Quinn (and I stress almost) then she is the most improved skater. And I know people disagree with this but his dance training (which he has done since he was about 5 years old incidentally) and the professional dancing competition wins will have given him a slight advantage.

As the best skater he deserves to win ... but it was won from day one if we go on that basis. But the most improved skater (which at the start of the whole series Robin Cousins was keen to point out) is probably Jessica. So in my eyes ... she's the winner.

Besides which ... and I suppose I'm making it personal here ... he is one of the most annoying little oinks I have ever seen on any reality show. An arrogant little tosser ... and the worst kind ... a scouse tosser!

And Jonjo ... you're right ... he entered it to get himself back into the spotlight ... knowing he was going to win from day one.

What I meant by equal terms was that all the contestants were given equal opportunities and that was to perform well and win, something which Ray took to mind right from the start and it's been shown in his consistancy so he or Jessica would deserve to win if Ray did have that dancing experience, which I tbh didn't know he had and you base it on overall progression and improvement through the series. On that note I actually wouldn't mind any of the finalists winning seeing that my fave is gone, which was pretty inevitable anyway

Wtf? Poor Jessica :(

Ray Quinn is a right little tit. His face annoys me so much. Boring and predictable winner from the very start.

I'm sure you said (in another thread) that you were beginning to love him! :)

He's an irritating little $h!t and I hope he falls flat on his smug little fizzog when he picks up his trophy!

Norma

I wanted Jess to win :( I never thought I'd be saying this at the start of the competition, but DONAL TO WIN!
