You see I can look at Eastenders objectively! And tonight ... Eastenders was bloody brilliant! Or rather ... Samantha Janus was brilliant ... totally bloody believable in the midst of a pretty unbelievable story. And this is why, when Eastenders does produce brilliant acting like this ... it is totally perplexing when the people at BAFTA give a 'best actress' nomination to June Brown - who has done an Albert Steptoe impression for her whole 20-odd year residency on Eastenders. There were at least 10 young actors in that one episode tonight who would put her to shame. The mind boggles!

I wonder if Ronnie will ever see the connection the love of her life had to her daughters death...

I mean how Jack indirectly caused everything tonight by doing what he did to Janine. And Darren of course causing her to speed off :(

I'm actually thinking Danielle isn't really dead, but she was just having bad trouble breathing. Well that's what I hope anyway.

oh AIDAN. You are FAB-U-LOUS. I'm going to start Aidanism. Care to be the godly figure?

She's dead.

I really hope Ronnie never gets it on with Jack now. Ry17 is right; Jack is the cause of everything in Walford. Everything. I vote Jack next to die! Poor Ron is becoming the new Sharon. Girl just can't get a break!

LOL Aidan, Oh I wish :(

But sadly she is gone. Her dad arrives tomorrow.

I should be getting funeral episodes soon - dreading watching them!

BTW-

Here is Marc Elliot who joins soon as Syed.

He's pretty easy on the eye ;)

Well only Ronnie was shouting "she's dead", but nothing has been officially confirmed about her leaving. Usually when someone leaves they go and do loads of interviews. ^_^
I'm sorry to be blunt but are you thick? It's all over the internet. The actress herself has said she's gone. Stop embarassing yourself.

LOL sorry Aidan but its completely confirmed by all. Many in press have been sitting on this for months :P

There are interviews coming though. Sorry but you must accept she is gone. Scene tomorrow with her father and Ronnie going to see her body. And she doesn't jump up and scream "I'm alive!" ;)

Stop mocking Aiden! I have two word to say to you! 'Dallas' and 'Shower'! Or on an even baser note ... 'canals', 'daffodils', and 'dirty Den'! So ... five words in all!

This is soapland! Anything can happen!

 Aw and, no she and why did he and like. Why?

Very sad 'ending' to the Ronnie/Danielle story, I'm glad the last few moments of Danielles life where happy though, even if she did get hit by a car and die in her mothers arms, she finally got what she wanted and well even if she did die and least she got what she wanted out of life for her mum to know her.

I personally want to see something similar to Den vs Sam/Chrissy/Zoe,but with Archie vs Ronnie/Janine or Roxy/Peggy.

I was reading on Danielle's actresses Wiki page that Danielle makes it to intensive care on life support and whilst the doctors are doubtful it is still possible of her pulling through, I know she won't but eh at least it isn't suddenly tragic and we get more Ronnie/Danielle scenes, even if they are from a hospital bed.

For anyone that's interested, these are all the people that played crucial parts to Danielle's death:

Danielle: Her "fault" because she didn't move in the plenty of time she had to, even if she was startled by it and unaware, it's her fault for not moving even if she couldn't.

Archie: His "fault" as he started all this twisted lies, he made her run off and he turned Ronnie against her, which if he hadn't it is likely the two would have been together.

Ronnie: Her "fault" as she distracted Danielle whilst she was making up with her, her act of love put Danielle into the daze that slowed her reactions to the car coming and evidently played a part in her being hit.

Janine: Her "fault" because she was driving the car that hit Danielle.

Darren: His "fault" because in smashing Janines sign he angered her into going off on her crazed driving fest to find Tiffany. If he hadn't Ricky was likely to have persuaded her to get out of the car.

Jack: His "fault" because he also enraged Janine in the first place by getting her to go to the Vic and be humiliated.

Stacey: Her "fault" because whilst Danielle seeked help and comfort she was too busy getting drunk and went to puke, leaving Danielle alone.

*sigh* :(

She doesn't...

^ Sorry to break the bad news but theres no more scenes with Danielle possibly alive even on life support.

She died there and then in Ronnie's arms.

It could all still be just a dream! A La Dallas!

Well that was one of the best, most over-the-top ridiculous episodes I've ever seen. Fantastic.

All the star players played their parts beautifully, who'd have thought 6 months ago that Lauren Crace had it in her? And Samantha Janus has completely changed my view of her. She was such a cold fish to begin with, but tonight she was exceptional.

Samantha Janus was brilliant ... totally bloody believable in the midst of a pretty unbelievable story.

SPOT ON.

Jack Branning is actually the anti-Christ and will bring about the end of TV.

OMG, how fantastic tonight was. I think the way the storyline was played out for so LONG, was brilliant. It meant that everyone really felt it tonight when she died.

No joke, after it finished, me my mum and my sister all sat crying LMAO.

Sam Janus was exceptional, hopefully she will be recognised for it all with awards!!

annnnnnnnnnnd Ive really like 2 interviews with Lauren Crace talking about how she had left lol. ppl have known about her death for a long time now :P LOL

I feel really bad having told the couple of people here who asked what happened! Lol that was an episode that deserved to be watched not actually knowing what was coming!

I basically worked out everything that would happen by reading various spoilers on here. The only bit I didn't see coming was that she died while walking happily towards Ronnie. I still had to fight back tears. It's pathetic but actually made me sad, I just wanted them to live happily ever after. :(
