Posted January 6, 200916 yr This week the top 10 is looking most likely Beyonce and Kings of Leon will have 2 tracks each inside the top 10. Has this ever happen before or pretty recent.
January 6, 200916 yr not that i know of. pritty impressive stuf although i have a feeling sex on fire wont be in the top 10 come sunday. Mind you beyonce is a cert for 2 records there, can you imagine if "listen" was still in the top 10 too!!

January 6, 200916 yr Good question. Until recently it was extremely rare for one artist to have 2 records in the top10 let alone two! If it’s happened recently then it’d be relying on featuring credits. It probably happened a few times in the 1950’s. :lol:

January 6, 200916 yr Kings of Leon better fall and let Beyonce get that record instead. The point is to put 2 songs by 2 different artists. Beyonce won't do it on her own :P I didn't expect to see Single Ladies in top10 in the UK. It's IIWAB and SL, isn't it? :unsure:
January 7, 200916 yr It's weird how its incredibly rare for any artist to have two top 10 singles here, yet in America it happens all the time. Right now, Beyonce, TI and Kanye West all have two top 10 singles, Britney did last week too!

I think it will become more commnonplace here too now that our charts have slowed down so considerably...all it takes is a second single to catch on not long after a long running No.1 and voila!
