I still hate the radio edit.

You can argue as much as you like about the lyrical content of the song, but after reading a few stories, I think a lot of parents are just trying to make a quick buck through publicity. As already mentioned, there are tonnes of more important songs, TV etc. that need this kind of involvement from parents. That's why I *retracted* my statement. It's because it's Britney, and she's like, the biggest popstar on earth. People love jumping on the bandwagon, too.

I doubt that's the single cover, I hope it is though! I love it!

The radio edit is fake. They can't edit it: the title of the song when people go to download it on iTunes. All this edited and controversy stuff has been set up by Jive, you'll find.
Yes, but tracks like lollipop and other rap songs go uncensored all of the time!

This is what I find really funny and annoying at the same time, take Crank Dat by Soulja Boy for example, talk about ew! Children wouldn't know about the real content unless told, and if they do then children are not as innocent as they used to be. It's just because it's Britney and a woman that she's getting slated for it more, women always come of the worst in these situations. I love the song and tbh don't see why it could be censored or anything.

Exactly.

^^ Just listened, definitely better than the other edit!

The radio host is so annoying in that clip when he leaves about 5 seconds in between the words, just to make sure he doesn't say F-U-C-K Me!

Bit OTT me thinks

Jive is getting everything they want from this song. All this publicity.

And the DJ is annoying as f***...how many times does he have to say it?

f***ing hell I've never heard a more annoying person in my ENTIRE f***ing life, shut the f*** up!

It doesn't even say f*** in the song for crying out loud!

Ugh he is sooooo ANNOYIGN AAAAARRRGGHHHHHHHHH!

Much better edit of the song though

Has there actually been any official confirmation on this though? All what I've heard so far has been fan-made.
No, nothing has been "official" yet. We don't even know for sure if there is going to be a radio edit! I can see a radio edit being used in some radio markets and the original being used in others though.

Yeah I agree Dylan.

You have some markets that might not have played (except late night spins) without the edit...but I can imagine alot of stations playing the unedited version.

Jive just playing it safe I guess, and not to mention publicity...I hope it doesn't get released to radio for ATLEAST another month though in the US, Circus hasn't even come close to reaching it's peak on radio.

I don't think this will get played on all radio stations. I think some will keep the original.

'If You Seek Amy' Video details

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, this is coming from an Exhale member, Kyle.

Most of ya'll should know him. he confirmed tons of stuff bout' Womanizer + the 'Circus' video shoot day & director as well.

He has said-

* A concept is set and ready to go. Earlier this week a poster confirmed the director.

I will say this about the concept - it is brilliant. Very original and thoughtful. Should be a beautiful video while still being semi-taboo. Should also create some controversy (especially among fans). There will be the Jordans' of the world who digest and analyze it a certain way and everyone else will view it another. That being said - Britney thought of this idea. Her management and label signed off of the treatment. Just keep that in mind in mid-March when you get to watch this gem.

-kyle

* The director is not David LaChapelle.

-kyle

* The tour definitely comes first, which is why this video shoots relatively soon.

-kyle

* As I said above, it is not David LaChapelle.

Sorry folks. But the director chosen is equally as good.

-kyle

When somebody asked him about JAKE NAVA being the Director ... there was no answer, so everybody thinks the director is JAKE NAVA.

OMFG. Jake Nava + Britney's Input = Magic!

And for those wondering what video concepts Britney has come up for, they include:

Baby One More Time

Toxic

My Prerogative (directed by Jake)

Do Somethin'

Gimme More (we can all excuse her for this one...lol)

Womanizer

Circus
