January 11, 200916 yr I was totally shocked when I heard this on Radio 1, not what I expected. Its very electro-pop, and girly-ish quite frankly  The girl sounds like Katy Perry
January 11, 200916 yr Author Kesha is a bit of a Lady GaGa ripoff tbf. Even down to myspace quotes. Weird.
January 11, 200916 yr Kesha is a bit of a ho. Song is good but it's SO electro-poppy that I can't even see it being as big as Elevator in the US... very Euro friendly.
January 11, 200916 yr The US charts are quite unpredictable at the moment. Pop and rhythmic radio might embrace it, but urban will definitely ignore it.
January 11, 200916 yr Heard this on Switch, I quite like Flo Rida but I'm not fond of the Dead Or Alive record it samples in the first place so it'll be hard to get over. I think it works but the lyrics on the chorus are a bit too similar to the original so it's quite irritating as I can't try and pretend it's not that song. It's becoming quite a theme for rappers to sample big (often annoying) hits and making them catchy. It makes me feel old, in the past I wouldn''t always recognise samples as often because I was too young for the originals.
January 11, 200916 yr You're probably right. It's not like he has a lot to lose anyway - he had three hits from the last album but still it didn't scrape Gold I don't think, or if it did then only just - that's despite the lead single being the most downloaded song EVER! Most artists who'd had that much initial singles success coupled with a flop album would never even be heard of again. The fact that he's quickly getting a (very good) single out there is good and if it's not a US hit, so what? He was bound to be a novelty artist after Low.
January 11, 200916 yr I think if this manages to be a hit in the UK, it could very easily eclipse Low's success in Europe. It definitely has potential, and its not like Low was a monster hit in the continent like it was in the US and UK.
January 12, 200916 yr Sorry but MEAT SPIN has forever hampered this song's memory for me. It's cheesy as f*** this is and they're already playing it in the clubs. I kinda hope this doesn't become big, but i'm sure i'll be proved wrong. :(
January 12, 200916 yr Meat Spin? Anyway, I like this better than Low. Which I hated. But this is OK :)
January 12, 200916 yr ROFL Meat spin! This sounds pretty good tbh - heard on Switch yesterday too and was surprised that I liked it so much!
January 12, 200916 yr Meat Spin? Anyway, I like this better than Low. Which I hated. But this is OK :) You really don't wanna know.
January 12, 200916 yr  Oh yeah Meatspin, I wouldn't have associated this song with that but now I will <_< I think I like this :(
February 23, 200916 yr ^Label probably didnt want to expose her image too early... (Keri Hilson anyone?) But she has been signed (to Universal i think..)
February 23, 200916 yr Quite like the vid! Although at the start i was thinking it was some sort of Parody or something
