April 8, 200916 yr ^None just yet, but we know the video is finished and Kelly has seen it so im thinking late April/Early May... I think it will be late April, since it will be just around a month before it's released here.
April 8, 200916 yr The UK release date has been moved to 1st June. Superstar Kelly Clarkson will release 'I Do Not Hook Up' the second single from her fourth album on 1st June. Written by fellow pop star, Katy Perry, 'I Do Not Hook Up' is a feisty anthem with a catchy guitar riff and chorus, which Kelly bellows out with her amazing voice. After just one listen you find yourself already singing along and the single looks set to be a hit just as her comeback single 'My Life Would Suck Without You', which was #1 in both the UK and US. 'My Life Would Suck Without You' has already sold 200K (making it Silver certified) in the UK and the album 'All I Ever Wanted' went Gold in less than a week in the UK. In the US, the album dominated the US Top 200 chart for two weeks in a row.
April 10, 200916 yr IDNHU is making fantastic gains on US radio, a really positive sign :) I don't really like the song being pushed back, its going to leave a gap between singles, and I'd rather at the moment Kelly have a bit of a continuous place at radio and on the UK chart [a bit like Lady GaGa], which would mean continued sales.

April 14, 200916 yr Author Kelly Clarkson - "I Do Not Hook Up" About.com Rating four out of Five The Bottom Line There really can't be too many rousing rock hits about the healing power of a solid romantic relationship. Some guy has been driven to drink, and the slow pursuit of Kelly Clarkson can heal the pain. That's the message here, and it seems a plausible one. It is also likely to drive the second big smash single from All I Ever Wanted to the upper reaches of the pop singles chart. Watch "I Do Not Hook Up" live Purchase / Download Pros * Seriously rocking hook * Solid lyrics * Kelly Clarkson's clarion voice Cons * Standard rock arrangement Description * Written by Greg Wells, Katy Perry, and Kara DioGuardi * Produced by Howard Benson * Released April 2009 by RCA Records Guide Review - Kelly Clarkson - "I Do Not Hook Up" The song "I Do Not Hook Up" first emerged with the title "Hook Up" as a track for a Katy Perry album that remains unreleased. The song was given to Kelly Clarkson to record for her album All I Ever Wanted, and she has done it justice. She steers into an overtly rock mood here, and the song's message about taking a relationship slow if you really want the most positive benefits can't be missed. Howard Benson, the man in the producer's chair for such hits as All-American Reject's Move Along, My Chemical Romance's Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, and the Daughtry debut album, is at helm for "I Do Not Hook Up" giving the song a very muscular rock arrangement. The sound is somewhat standard issue, but it is Kelly Clarkson's vocals that take this recording to the next level. With all of the star power in production and songwriting, Kara DioGuardi has a hand in putting the song together, great things should be expected, and "I Do Not Hook Up" does not disappoint. There is a serious point about relationships in the lyrics, Kelly Clarkson proves she knows her way all around a melodic rock song, and you will find yourself singing along. Add another to the growing list of classic Kelly Clarkson singles.
April 14, 200916 yr Author Idols Airplay Chart You knew it had to happen eventually: Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck Without You seems to have peaked. For the first time since we started doing this chart, the single gets fewer spins than it did the previous week, going from 14,685 spins to 14,507. Mind you, that's still double the number of plays received by the next-closet Idol single, Carrie Underwood's I Told You So, which looks to be well on its way to Number One on the USA TODAY country chart (quick aside: Rascal Flatts' Here Comes Goodbye, co-written by American Idol Season 6 finalist Chris Sligh, leaps from the 6 spot to become this week's Number One country song). Beyond that, there's not much news to this week's chart. The Top 10 remains unchanged. Kelly's I Do Not Hook Up moves into the Top 20, and David Cook's Come Back to Me continues to pick up steam, climbing from #44 to #31. Bucky Covington's I Want My Life Back picks up a handful of spins but not enough to take the single anywhere -- it's at #61 for the second week. A few songs, like Kimberley Locke's Fall and Fantasia's Baby Mama, re-appear on the chart as records by Mandisa and Kristy Lee Cook fall out. David Cook's Bar-Ba-Sol gets a smattering of airplay. And Adam Lambert is the only Season 8 finalist to chart with his "year you were born" song: Mad World picks up 17 spins on 13 stations -- with Dayton, Ohio's Hot AC station, WMMX-FM, playing it three times -- to make the chart at #79.
