Aww come on!

I called them that's gotta count for something around here!

Besides you've had an almost identical entry to them in the past and look how that did :P

:P

I am joking :P I know you and Rich wanted it, Rich has slightly gone off the idea of sending it now though I think :o So yeah...

Don't worry I'll come last again and that'll teach me :P

I kind of don't want to be the first person to enter a Eurovision national final song, as I think it might draw negative attention to the entry.

Maybe Nick can Send it :kink:
I should also add when I listened to SF1 songs for the first time the song that I rated this afternoon the best: Inner Massivia: Melanie Fiona - Give It To Me Right did not qualify.

Inner Massivia's entry was vastly underrated IMO also...

Inner Massivia says thanks for the support! Got to be honest and say we're absolutely shocked not to qualify with a song and singer as strong as that, particularly with it being a brand new artist and seeing some of the awful songs put through. We'd have thought song would override genre but we're starting to have doubts!

Of the 7 other non-qualifiers in SF1 we only voted for one of the failing songs and they only just managed tenth place in our jury's voting on a last minute toss of a coin. Of the 13 qualifiers from SF1, Inner Massivia scored four of them below 5/10 (scores of 0, 2, 4 and 4.5) - there was one we objected to in principal, one was utterly atrocious and we question people's sanity in voting for it, one a big bag of nothing and one missed out on an annoying technicality otherwise would have scored higher. Three songs scored over 7/10 (7, 7.5 and 8), with the other 6 fighting out the middle ground. We'd have placed our own song above the middle ground and just below the top three.

I don't think our top three would be a surprise - they've received much publicity. We avoided listening to any of the songs before having a one-off listening party so as to come to each song fresh. In many ways we might have been slightly prejudiced against those three songs because of the hype, but they really were a class above the rest and fully deserved the highest marks.

Looking forward to listening to the SF2 qualifiers now.

No belittling intended. I found probably only 4 NEW discoveries out of this contest that I somewhat liked, where some artists have been sent 2 or 3 times now since the start of the contest. Each getting a predictable auto qualification 90% of the time.. That is quite cheap IMO

'Cheap'?

I don't think that you can change people and make them send NEW rock/punk/alternative songs from NEW bands  It's their business - you send YOUR fave songs, they send THEIR faves, I don't think that most of us obsessively chase the success in each contest.

SORRY. It was just bitterness thrown into that post, y'know that 'ughh I didn't qualify I hate you' feeling ..lol
OMG I feel so hated now. :snif:

 Everyone is welcome in the BJSC family. Except Leonville + Whatever their other country was called :P

I think Camtoro is the name you're looking for. :D

It would actually be so so funny if one of them participated again and won the next contest. :kink:
