Posted January 20, 200916 yr Brook axed as TV talent show judge Kelly Brook has been axed as a judge on Britain's Got Talent after barely a week on the panel. The model and presenter, 29, was unveiled as a judge only last Tuesday alongside Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, and was soon attending auditions in Manchester. But after reviewing tapes over the weekend, show producers decided the new format was too "complicated" with four people on the panel, and Kelly paid the price. Simon said in a statement: "I have genuinely enjoyed working with Kelly, she is absolutely lovely and a complete professional. "But it's become clear the format doesn't support another judge and we will never add a fourth judge to the panel." A spokesman for production company Talkbackthames added: "The format of the show is cleaner and less complicated with just three judges, which was not fully appreciated ahead of filming. "Producers reviewed the tapes over the weekend and although Kelly brings a huge amount of warmth to the show and we've loved having her on board, the complications it adds to the filming process and format of the show means that unfortunately, and with huge regret, we have agreed with ITV not to proceed with a fourth judge." Kelly - who is dating England rugby star Danny Cipriani - has been left "stunned" by the decision, according to the Daily Mirror.
January 20, 200916 yr She lasted long then. I also refuse to believe Amanda Holden had anything to do with this, the entire thing is just publicity for the show.
January 20, 200916 yr I bet my girl Amanda used dark voodoo to get that ho off of the show  Get 'em Holden!
January 22, 200916 yr I bet my girl Amanda used dark voodoo to get that ho off of the show  Get 'em Holden! I thought she used red capes and dishevelled appearances?
January 23, 200916 yr I don't think Kelly has any reason to feel embarrased. It IS completely out of order, and the only people who should feel embarrased are Simon and the production company - this is an incredibly unprofessional way to act, towards Kelly or anyone else whom was given the spot. The whole point of having a production company is that they understand how to make shows work, and part of their job is testing format's - not to hire someone, call a press conference to launch the new series then decide it's a bit of a f*** up and fire someone publically. Ridiculous, I'd be so angry if I was Kelly.
January 24, 200916 yr I went to the auditions on the second day when Kelly was still there. She was very slow at buzzing people off - similar to Cheryl, who said in her first few days she was saying yes to everyone, however with Cheryl, she wasn't holding up time, whereas Kelly was simply not buzzing acts off soon enough, thus causing time delays, even though she would say no to them eventually. This has to be her only fault, I actually quite liked her as a judge, quite honest, but fair.
