January 27, 200916 yr In my opinon, Mushy and Grimly are blatenly just closet Coldplay fans, they just dont want to come out :( But seriously, hate or love Chris Martin, no way has he ripped this track off.

January 27, 200916 yr Author CALM DOWN MATE! Such arrogance and ignorance to The Saturdays makes me think that you have to shut up or just talk about Coldplay's crappiness! <_< i like 'issues'.....
January 27, 200916 yr In my opinon, Mushy and Grimly are blatenly just closet Coldplay fans, they just dont want to come out :( Yeah, Chris, that's right, dammit, you caught me out.... And I secretly love The Saturdays, the new Guns N Roses album and Katy Perry as well...... :P
January 27, 200916 yr Author Yeah, Chris, that's right, dammit, you caught me out.... And I secretly love The Saturdays, the new Guns N Roses album and Katy Perry as well...... :P ......... i like 'hot n cold' too....lol... and lily allens 'the fear'....but NOT coldplay!
January 27, 200916 yr Yeah, Chris, that's right, dammit, you caught me out.... And I secretly love The Saturdays, the new Guns N Roses album and Katy Perry as well...... :P i am putting that in my sig so the whole forum will know :kink: I hear you were one of the three people to actually buy The Saturdays album? I also hear you don't think Axel Rose wasted money on Chinese Democracy and that he is your God. I reckon your favourite album is 'St Anger' as well, purely for the amazing drum sounds.
January 27, 200916 yr .... some people can use ego to be rather endearing, like robbie williams for eg. he doesnt rate himself like chris martin does. its his superscillious manner, his over-inflated claims and the deep suspicion of plagarism on the back of very average material that irks me. breaking america isnt a qualification of quality m8...lol.. I never said it was a sign quality? I was just using it as an example for showing how well Coldplay have done. This plagarism claim, I cannot see, just like I couldn't see with Viva Lad Vida. People have said they can see it, but I just can't, and it's not cos there's bias. There's absolutely NO massive similarities between the riffs to me.

Now you are really taking the p***. Robbie Williams is the biggest cock in pop music. "I'm quite obviously not the world's most handsome man - I'm the second world's most handsome man!" "I like listening to good music - and I can't stop playing my album." "I'm rich beyond my wildest dream..." The day he signed a £75 million contract with EMI the day after EMI closed it's CD factory in Swindon Wiltshire making 1,200 people redundant If it was not for the fact he has made some rather good records (thanks to the tunesmith efforts of Guy Chambers, Stephen Duffy & err Mark Ronson (maybe on the latter that is why Rudebox did not do so well) and is the most charismatic live performer since Freddie Mercury he would have been a has been ages ago.
January 27, 200916 yr i like 'issues'..... Now there's someone who's being truthful. Maybe just an irony?

I will not say that Rudebox did not do so well, but never mind. He will be back big!
January 27, 200916 yr and lily allens 'the fear'....but NOT coldplay! Lily Allen's The Fear rips off a Ian Broudie penned Lightning Seeds track allegedly. Certainly it is far closer in musical proximity than the Fairground Attraction claim on Coldplay. Like her forthcoming album track Everyone's At It was pulled from being the comeback single because of similarities to an old Specials single. Still her mooted next single sounds highly original doesn't it especially on the chorus. 8fhQixkbb78 Lily Allen - Who'd Have Known (demo version) It makes me want to go shopping at Morrisons. Which is why Gary Barlow & co have allowed the track for a share of the royalties.
January 27, 200916 yr I will not say that Rudebox did not do so well, but never mind. He will be back big! I love Rudebox as an album. His best since his debut Liife Thru The Lens. Like Lily Allen just because I cannot stand the person does not mean I don't like the music they make.

You better believe though that if I get the chance to trip you up on summat and use a quote against you in a humourous way.... I will.....  :P You've been warned mate, choose your words carefully.....
January 27, 200916 yr I don't like Lily as a person, but you can't hate the songs. Yes you can... Quite easily... I'll prove it.... I cant stand Lily Allen's cr@ppy, sub, cod-reggae muzak, she makes UB40 sound like Lee Scratch Perry or Bob Marley...... She only got a record deal because of her famous dad.... There you are, pretty easy to hate the songs innit....? :P

January 27, 200916 yr Now you are really taking the p***. Robbie Williams is the biggest cock in pop music. Well, one of them anyway.... Still not quite as insufferable as Axl..... And, I'm afraid I find it quite difficult to like the music of an artist if I cant stand them as people to be honest.... The music comes from them (well, assuming they write it of course...), and if I find a particular political or social view of an artist objectionable (ie, Axl Rose saying "immigrants and faggots/they make no sense to me") in one of their songs or in an interview, well I'm very much afraid they wont be receiving ten quid of MY hard earned dosh.....

Lily Allen's The Fear rips off a Ian Broudie penned Lightning Seeds track allegedly. Certainly it is far closer in musical proximity than the Fairground Attraction claim on Coldplay. m8.... i dont care IF lily allen rips off someone else, that aint the point....the point is that the first time i heard the new coldplay effort i recognised it striaght away, i knew which note were being played next... the riff is pretty much identical. Like Lily Allen just because I cannot stand the person does not mean I don't like the music they make. ahhhhh hence the confusion over on the 'dr whos assistant' thread. i agree.

Lily knows it rips off the shine chorus, and when it went on myspace she posted a blog to say it probably wouldn't go on the album as she couldn't be arsed with the paperwork. Looks like she did the paperwork after all. I'm sure quite a bit of Alright, Still uses samples. But they are all credited. Lily is a talented lyricist, she can't write music though.
