If you haven't already heard of Lily Allen – where have you been? Lily's infectious pop has been causing a stir since she first started posting her tunes on MySpace. Taken from her debut album 'Alright, Still', the fabulously infectious single 'Smile' was produced by Future Cut and features the sample 'Free Soul' by the Soul Brothers (written by Clement Dodd & Jackie Mittoo).

Where do you think this will peak?

its ok, she reminds me of Amy Winehouse though, and I much prfer Amy to Lily

Top 3, maybe number 1. Isn't she being called the "Ghetto Corinne Bailey Rae"? Ha ha. I like that one.

Loving this song though - although I think the video is quite morally shocking!

Amazing song - so gonnab e #1 :P

Something everyone can relate to methinks.

A great tune & good miming on TOTP.

Only England winning the World Cup can stop this making #1.

Am I the only one who finds "middle class public school kids" who then pretend they are working class singing in a "mockney" voice irritating and fake?

(Add Dido & Preston of the Ordinary Boys to the list)

I love it. I think it'll be top 3 easily, hopefully number one, but I voted top 3, but it'll hang around.
If shes goes number one, she will have a bigger hit than her old man, as Vinderloo only went number two, though Keith Allen has appeared in two previous number ones, in NeworderEngland World in Motion & Blurs Country House
