February 9, 200916 yr This song is truly awful :o And it's not about the song sounding "camp" or whatsoever, I like lots of camp songs, but this one is just horrible, like a mock of the worst of what a camp song shouldn't be. oh well said! couldnt agree more! :)
February 9, 200916 yr it sounds like bananarama meet erasure .... its a bit like Go West by PSB Both good things :) To be honest I hadn't listened to it before I voted before, but the thing it reminds me most of is Jump by Girls Aloud, and that got to number 1 without being from a movie... it was also a big international hit.
February 9, 200916 yr I predict ANYWHERE inside the Top 5... ;) I think this could be the first year where, the Comic Relief single, will not go to number 1. I really can't see them challenging Kelly Clarkson or Taylor Swift for that matter (Although Taylor is releasing download 2/3 weeks early which could lose it for her...) Hmmm... as for the song itself, After 5 listens, I'm still on the Fence with it... Maybe it's a grower, but it's not as instant as it should have been ;) Edited February 9, 200916 yr by Jonjo
February 9, 200916 yr TBH, it's a fun charity single which fits the bill for Comic Relief, i mean they don't want a boring ballad do they. Although i don't like it too much i am buying it because it's for charity and i always buy the charity singles. Defo #1 but Kelly will be #3 and move to #1 the week after.

Don't know if i can agree (Jump was better imho) and also Jump only made no2! Would that revise your prediction for this Tom? :P (also it was in Love, Actually?) Maybe it's a grower, but it's not as instant as it should have been ;) The Comic Relief single has missed the top spot before e.g. Bananarama (#3) 1989. I’ll be stunned if The Saturdays don’t shift well over 100k that week! Just Can’t Get Enough is in the same vein as When The Going Gets Tough, Uptown Girl and Spirit In The Sky and will be HUGE. Walk This Way wasn’t so was obviously the wrong song choice that is why it under performed. Charity records are finally starting to gain momentum on downloads: the X Factor finalists shifted over 100k in a week. With the massive exposure that Comic Relief will provide I can see The Saturdays doing the same. I think the popularity of the fake version of Love Story at the moment is partly down to Valentines Day approaching. Taylor Swift really missed a trick by not releasing the download this week as love songs have generated huge sales in the past on the week leading up to Valentines Day. Like Céline Dion(235k 1998) and Enrique Iglesias (100k 2002 on it’s 4th week up from 83k on it’s 3rd). I can’t see her sales holding up to that degree although she’ll easily be ahead of Clarkson. In fact Kelly Clarkson blatantly wont even shift a third of what the Saturdays will do that week. :P
February 9, 200916 yr That's GOT to be a joke... Having heard both Kelly and the Sats' singles now, it's very clear which will be getting to #1. If anybody stops Kelly, it'll be Taylor, but I think Kelly will do it, if only for a week. #3 for this. Disappointing.
February 9, 200916 yr But its for COMIC RELIEF, do people not get this?! With the millions of people seeing the red nose mark on the physical and the fact it will most probs be stocked in Sainsburys as well as the other usual music outlets this WILL GO NUMBER ONE and should, even just to raise money. Its fun, has great harmonies and for once all girls get a chance to sing a solo and (ok, maybe not Mollie) all of them sound fantastic. Granted, its not as amazing as i thought it would be but i do believe it will be a grower. Edited February 9, 200916 yr by coolnav

February 9, 200916 yr It's rubbish. It'll pretty much mirror what 'Walk This Way' did, both chartwise and saleswise.
February 9, 200916 yr Why do people like this group. It's a cheap and cheesier clone of Girls Aloud, minus the good music.

People are underestimating The Saturdays because they desperately WANT something/someone else to be no1. Wanting and the reality of what actually happens can and will in this case be two very different things. ;)

February 9, 200916 yr Didn't stop McFly from Flopping with their Charity Single... Yes, but their Comic Relief single did get to No1... Even The Spice Girls CIN single flopped.
February 9, 200916 yr If that goes to #1 I emigrate to Trinidad & Tobago I'll come with you it's a lovely part of the world can't wait to go again i hope ruth and rob get number 1 bigger sales though, i love the saturdays but dont like their atitudes and the s club junior girls do my head in and they ain't all that

Well Kelly is released a week early on downloads and then the physical, so I think Kelly might make #1 on downloads and then be knocked off by The Saturdays.
