February 9, 200916 yr Why do people like this group. It's a cheap and cheesier clone of Girls Aloud, minus the good music. Sums them up really! This is a VERY bad cover version and this song will probably go to #1 for the same reason that they've had three other big hits because of the sheer HYPE and people eating it up like it was their sunday roast or something! This song just sounds like a speeded up version of the original and they've somehow managed to make it even more camper than it too! The Saturdays lack in almost every department what make Girls Aloud so good imo! The video is very GAish too and the version in that with the all the fart sounds is even worse than the one from the radio!
February 9, 200916 yr Its not their best song by any means, but its great fun and the CR thing will make it a certain #1 - and about blinking time too, they deserve it so much :)
February 9, 200916 yr THERE ISNT ANY HYPE ANYMORE, they're doing it from good songs. Get over it, Comic Relief chose them - they did a fun song and video - hence the COMIC in Comic Relief. God they're not asking for a Brit for best single or anything.
February 9, 200916 yr I promise you now  I will do anything to make sure this doesnt get to number one  I would rather TT beat Kelly. I like The Sats but this is just... no...
February 9, 200916 yr I promise you now  I will do anything to make sure this doesnt get to number one  I would rather TT beat Kelly. I like The Sats but this is just... no... Kelly will get to number one the week before. And I'm pretty sure there's not much you can do to stop it going to number one if it's going to get there. I highly doubt you have £40,000 lying around to buy another track more and that's the only way of stopping it :P
February 9, 200916 yr Having seen the video, I reckon the "Recession Girls Aloud" (© Popjustice) will score their maiden #1. LOL. I can't believe this tripe has a shot of being #1. You know, I did't like Issues at all, but I was starting to take them a little more seriously... now this? Man, this is their worst single by far (and I hate them all).
February 9, 200916 yr Im not 100% sure if Kelly can get to number one on downloads only... The physical won't help it that much. If it's going to get to number one, it will be with or without a physical.
February 9, 200916 yr No we don't ;) Perhaps that’s STRETCHING it a bit, but even an admission that it might not get to No1 is progress. :cheer:
February 9, 200916 yr Im fairly certain now after seeing the video and everything that it will be a #1. Kelly should hopefully get there the week before though, and even if she doesnt, Kelly should end up selling fantastically anyway.
February 9, 200916 yr It doesn't matter if its rubbish or great ... it is for Comic Relief and will be played to hell and back by Radio 1 and will have loads of coverage all round. The video is quite fun. I honestly could take or leave this song even when it was sung by Depeche Mode, it's hardly a classic so in my opinion it could hardly be ruined. So ... all things taken into consideration ... it ain't bad and it is for charity after all. Norma
February 9, 200916 yr Just to answer, the reason this has a chance of getting number one is because IT IS FOR A CHARITY - COMIC RELIEF. It would'nt of been made otherwise, its just a fun catchy track aiming to sell as much for Comic Relief. Edited February 9, 200916 yr by coolnav
February 9, 200916 yr Ithink it's Ok, definitely weaker than Up and Work. Crazy Frog comeback? But UK loves this chav-tastic sound. Plus is Comic relief single... If Girls Aloud and Sugababes got to #1 with that awful track (ok they are the biggest UK pop bands put together but still...) The Satz have a #1 in their hands.
February 9, 200916 yr Just to answer, the reason this has a chance of getting number one is because IT IS FOR A CHARITY - COMIC RELIEF. It would'nt of been made otherwise, its just a fun catchy track aiming to sell as much for Comic Relief. Simon Cowell proved last autumn that people are willing to download for a CAUSE in there hundreds of thousands. COMIC RELIEF generates at lot of good will and more people than ever will be able to download the track from the comfort of their sofas while watching the TV extravaganza / snore fest. Saturdays live performance > cue a presenter imploring viewers to download it right now > HUGE sales.
February 9, 200916 yr But this is a MUSIC chart though! I've bought a few Comic Relief singles in the past because I LIKED THE SONG and this is certainly no 'Who Do You Think You Are' it's for a good cause but it's easy to just give 79p directly rather than help an awful song that you don't like get to #1!
