February 12, 200917 yr Lily Allen has got competition next week from the Prodigy in the singles chart, I didn't think Prodigy's new single would take off that well, looks like U2 have to settle for a top 3 or top 5 entry next week. I really don't think it's going to make number one. Hopefully Eminem won't either, but I think it's more likely. How are you feeling about Empire Of The Sun now?
February 12, 200917 yr Author Wow Bette Midler has really climbed throughout the week. Delighted :dance: I wouldn't be surprised if she end up #2 by Sunday, she has been climbing all week, Nos 2-4 albums could be very close, sales wise.

Sadly its only available as a 7 inch format, so I doubt the track will make top 15 or even top 20 and its such a good track so different to what there is in the chart at the moment. Sadly not many artists are releasing singles on CD's, this is were a lot of artists will suffer, apart from major/big artists, the CD single is literally at death's door.

I think it could peak high top 15 just on downloads. Weird decision though,as although they're new, they'd sell well on physical. Still I think they have a number one album in the bag when it's out.

February 13, 200917 yr Loving all the St Etienne chat this week! Tried to buy it today but didn't see it in HMV :( Haven't even heard it but sounding like GA/vintage Kylie isn't a bad start surely. Anyone know if Prodigy out physically yet, if so are they doing CDS/7"/12"? Amazing they are in top10 again. I think Lily will struggle to do 100k in this climate, but she's the first big return of the year for sure :)
