Amazing for Leona...3 hits with sales over 500K

Gareth has as well, which is more of an achievement really, as back then they were all physicals, I expect Leona will end up being the biggest single seller in the UK now though, out of all the solo talent show contestants. Gareth doesn't release chart music anymore, Will is mainly an album seller now and doesn't bother the singles chart much anymore, I can't see Alex Burke or Shane Ward outselling Leona in the future either. I guess it all depends on who x-factor throws up next, it didn't do that well last year.

Updated with last weeks figures
6. Alexandra Burke – Hallelujah 1,112,655

8. Shayne Ward - That's My Goal 1,100,000

14. Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This 845,000

???. Steve Brookstein - Against All Odds

???. Leon Jackson - When You Believe

The top three were on the X Factor in 2008, 2005 and 2006 respectively. Quite a gap between them and the winners of 2004/2007. (The question marks are because they aren't in the Top 200. :kink:)

Leon Jackson is #77

He's actually at 73. (But when I searched for it yesterday, Internet Explorer told me it couldn't find "leon".)

That's because you're using Internet Explorer and not Firefox :heehee:

61. R Kelly - Ignition (Remix) 505,000

Wow, did this really sell that much?

I loved this song and I always hated myself for loving it.

According to this : http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86762 bleeding love had sold 937,100 at the week ending Jan 10th 2009 - a week where she sold over 1.5k. The following 13 weeks aren't accounted for here. If she continued selling ~1.5k in all those weeks, the sales for the song could potentially be ~20k out?

i simply use the ytd threads, so most figures are going to be out of date.

there's def a few which are, i've noticed as i've looked through but can't necessarily lay my hands on the exact figures always i'm afraid. I wouldn't get too hung up on the positions, more look at it as a useful resource :)

A couple of confirmed totals (as of Sunday 12 April):-

Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love:- 950,019

Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This:- 851,290
