Posted June 4, 200619 yr Sarah Harding the blonde from Girls Aloud has apparantly quit the group. She quit the group after their last concert on tour at Wembley. She has for a long time wanted to go solo and now feels that the time is right whilst Girls Aloud appear to be slowly declining in fanbase and popularity. The group apparantly wanted to carry on and get an un-named replacement in but she has apparantly declined so the group have decided that they will release a Greatest Hits Album in winter and that will be their final album as a group. I personally cannot see any of the group other than Nadine being successful with solo careers and think that Sarah is one of the group most likely to flop as a solo artist. I predict that if she does get a solo record contract then her debut single will go top 15, this followed by an album which will barely scrape the top 30 and then a second single which will only just get top 35. I predict that the record company will then drop her and she will go down as yet another ex band member who tried and failed at a successful solo career. Edited June 4, 200619 yr by JON

June 4, 200619 yr Author well they are highly unlikely to confirm anything for a while, they will try to keep it quiet for a while however that is already failing as many sites like this one and newspapers are leaking the story. I don't think there will be a press conference as the chances are they will want to keep her departure as quiet and smooth as possible without losing anymore fans which they already are doing.

June 4, 200619 yr Daily Star is the worst paper for these rumours. They have countless numbers of supposive "big football transfer stories" yet hardly any of them are ever true, so i'd take this article with a pinch of salt for the time being.
