Girls Aloud: 'Brit ends split questions'

Cheryl Cole has claimed that Girls Aloud's win at last night's Brit Awards has dispelled rumours that the group has split up.

 

The singer and X Factor judge described the band's best single victory for 'The Promise' as "a bit surreal".

 

Girls Aloud beat off competition from Adele, Alexandra Burke, Coldplay and others to win the award that was chosen by the public.

 

Regarding rumours of a possible break-up, Cole said: "We have just won a Brit voted for by the public, and us being here shuts that question up."

 

Lots of articles this morning about Cheryl Cole getting mad at a journalist who asked about the band splitting up after the Brits ceremony !

What a silly question ! It's like asking a bride "are you gonna leave your husband soon" just after a wedding :P

I loooove their reaction when the journalist comes to the "split up" rumours (after already asking about their busy schedules and stuff), they get so upset and go like "you have no interesting questions? then f*** off" ! A must watch !Classic !! :wub:

the split rumours will always go on but i think girls aloud will continue and continue kinda like westlife but with talent

Bleach blonde party animal Sarah Harding will become girls aloud superstar no.3 to work on a solo album. Her solo ambitions mean there will be 3 of the girls battling it out in the charts with each other next year. Although Sarah Nadine and Chezza are going it alone it does NOT mean our girlband are splitting up - we repeat they will stay together. Nadine's album is set for release in January 2010 Sarah and Cheryl will take longer as they are trying to find their sound. Nicola and Kimba are trying to enter the acting world

this is great news, i think Sarah will have the best album. And think we could get a group album one year then solo albums the year after and it could keep happening like that. One thing though it will be weird to see them doing something by themselves.

 

The thing is if they are all really successful solo, i don't think they would want to go back in a group, also if one of them is really successful i don't the one staying in the group.
