Where was a Nadine album confirmed?! I knew Cheryl was back working with Will.I.Am and also with Mika but never knew anything about Nadine.

 

Is the '10 album also confirmed for April? I remember reading that X Factor wanted to have the girls on again in the forthcoming year to perform a new track so it kind of puts a dampener on things if the album release is about 5/6 months AFTER X Factor! I would have thought it might have been earlier, like January or February, to coincide with a single release.

To me, this all sounds like bull$h!t.

Nadine has always denied going solo, so the "confirmation" of her album sounds silly.

Same for Cheryl, she will crack the US with her TV career, and not with a solo music effort.

i was just thinkin i would love of the girls had solo careers a bit like the way ronan leating is currently releaseing a solo album while recording the boyzone album,id love the girls to have solo careers but to keep girls aloud going,i know thats a big ask but it is what id love

We've decided to write this note together, because we want to set the record straight about what is happening in our world.

 

Over the next twelve months we are all going to be involved in lots of different things - music, TV, fashion and more. Sometimes it may be a solo project - sometimes just a couple of us and sometimes all five of us together.

i don't see the need for them to post that. I haven't heard any rumours in ages.

on Galaxy today they were basically saying they are splitting up.

 

Glad they deffo doing another 3 albums though (even if one of them will be a 2nd GHs)

Sarah Harding 'to work on solo material'

 

Sarah Harding has confirmed that she is in talks to record solo material for the upcoming St. Trinian's movie soundtrack.

 

The Girls Aloud singer, who landed a part in St Trinian's: The Legend of Fritton's earlier this year, insisted that she has not turned her back on her music career.

 

"I'm still going to do music. It's my first love. I want to concentrate on acting, but it's not going to stop me from doing some writing," she told Heat.

 

"I may be doing some work on the St. Trinian's soundtrack, as well as appearing in it, which is exciting."

 

Harding stressed that she is still committed to Girls Aloud, despite the group taking an extended break.

 

"We're not splitting up, we're just taking time out. It's been six years and we all wanted to explore different ideas," she said.

 

"We'll probably start doing another album next year. We've been on a treadmill for six years, so we needed a break."

 

The group recorded the theme tune and made a brief cameo appearance in 2008's St. Trinian's.

I am sick of hearing they are splitting it is exciting to hear their own individual material but they have signed a new album deal so they shouldn't be splitting any time soon.

I think people are starting to think that they are splitting up because that's when the Spice Girls split, whilst making solo material. People are just worried they'll be losing a great girl band
