With the release of "Just can't get enough" which is not on chasing lights album, do you think their album may get re-released to increase extra sales?

No I don't think it will. It will probably be a single-only release, or it may be included on their second album. They should move on like Girls Aloud do, release JCGE, then a new single late summer + album mid fall.

Perhaps. Just because when it's a hit, obviously it'll make the album more appealing to buyers.

It will make it more appealing to buyers, but this will get people buying the original. I think they should have Issues as the last single, and put Just Can't Get Enough on their second album.

I think they might tbh, well i hope they do anyway. It'll especially be needed if the release of Work later on is still planned.

mmm there was talk of a re-release, before JCGE, but then that was squashed... as far as i know they aint re-releasing the album at this stage, but who knows? they might do!

 

 

I guess it will be added in their Greatest Hits album like when SOGA have I Stand By You and Jump on it.

I think Polydor will re-issue the ablum with the inclusion of JCGE - They would be mad not to as the album has really started to pick up since the release of 'Issues' and re-releasing the album could help it reach Platinum :dance:

But if a new album is going to reach us by the end of this year (confirmed in an interview with DS last week) they are never going to have time to re-release.

 

I think the answer is no, the release of 'Work' should help the album a little more and then sales are over for 'Chasing Lights'. I think Fascination will see it did amazing for a debut girlband and lay it to rest at the 200k mark. They've made no loss as the singles have sold bucket loads along with the album.

It might get to about 250k by the end of this year and then maybe over the years it can trickle over 300k, that being if the second album is of the same quality of Chasing Lights.

The album is being released, well in the loosest sense of the word - HMV and Amazon both have the album just including JCGE out on the 16th March, so it's more of a phase out of the 13 track one, and introduction of this one.

Hmm, a bit lazy if you ask me, I would have loved a deluxe version with all the B-Sides and a new track or two, even though I have all the B-Sides, but I do usually like deluxe editions, new spangly artwork & the like would have gone down a treat.

 

Oh well.

hmmm, for one extra track the price is a bit much compared to the other version...

Totally agree - The have totally missed out on getting fans to buy the album twice which we all would have done had they added some extra tracks etc, :rolleyes:

do u think they havent done a re-release because the single is for charity and not to improve their album sales?
