'Promise In the Dark' deserves to be on the album :(

Glad 'Knock You Down' is added  Can't go wrong with a bit of Ne-Yo! :D (We'll forget his Anastacia related stuff :P)

'Turnin' Me On' / 'In a Perfect World...' are being released here in the UK in May.
I don't think Turnin Me On will take off here like it did in America. I don't think the Urban market has the same sort of power as it does in America. Although, I expect some chavvy 15 year old girls will be blasting it out of their nokias on the top deck of the bus in no time.

'Energy' would be FAR more suitable for the UK. -_- I will be very surprised if 'Turnin' Me On' makes Top 75 over here :(

If she is to start with an uptempo track over here, 'Return the Favor' is better IMO

It's a shame Turnin' Me On wouldn't do much over here. Energy is "nice", but TMO is so much more creative. Energy is just another standard pop leaning R&B track.

So 'Knock You Down' looks like it might be the next single; it's already had several plays at radio. She and Kanye have shot a little promo vid for the album too:

It uses the first part of the slow jam 'Make Love' which sounds cute. Nice teaser vid.

AND 'Get Your Money Up' with Keyshia & Trina leaked. Bit rubbish.

'Knock You Down' confirmed as the new single:

Absolutely brilliant! First Keri song since Energy I've thought 'amazing!' about. Should be huuuuge.

Albums leaked and its suprisingly amazing.
Is it any good? I have yet to hear anything from people/the album and i wont be able to listen till Monday so i need reviews people :drama:
Better than I thought it would be! I'm liking it quite a bit actually
First half of the album is really fabulous! I didn't realise 'Return the Favour' was actually really hot. On the second half now...
The only song i have heard from the album is Energy and if the rest follows suit then ill be very happy.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this album!

Except the singles, Highlights are:

'Knock You Down (feat. Kanye West & Ne-Yo)', 'Make Love' & 'Change Me (feat. Akon)'

Lowlights: 'Intuition' & 'Tell him the Truth'

But overall, a pleasing debut and alot better than originally thought!

Album rate after one full listen then:

07.5 Turnin' Me On - Really hated this initially. Nowadays I really like the dirty beat, and the vocals are fierce, but it still lacks catchyness to these ears.

07.5 Get Your Money Up - See above. Brimming with attitude but still missing something. Still, kudos for having the Diamond Princess on board.

08.5 Return The Favour - I feel this could get boring quickly but for now the beat is really mesmerising and the song is extremely memorable. An obvious hit...

09.5 Knock You Down - God, this is amazing. I imagine she co-wrote this since the chorus is so instant and simple and genius.

07.0 Slow Dance - Lovely vocals but overall not so memorable.

08.5 Make Love - Nice to hear such an old-school type of slow jam with modern production. Really warming.

07.5 Intuition - The beat is one of Timbaland's best of recent times but there doesn't appear to be any distinctive chorus section. Shame.

08.0 How Does It Feel - Nice album track and I'm a sucker for anything with even a hint of a marching band.

08.0 Alienated - Really sweet and cosy.

07.0 Tell Him The Truth - Nice slow jam, but a little dull at the same time...

08.5 Change Me - Interesting that Akon sings the entire chorus. Really pretty song, and obvious hit potential. Who is singing the male verse though?

09.5 Energy - Definitely a song which benefits from its simplicity. This song's floppage bleeds my heart. Should've been the closer.

07.0 Where Did He Go? - I like the verses, with the 'can you tell me where did he go?' echo, soo much more than the chorus, which really drags on. Not bad, just generic.

8.77/10 > In A Perfect World...

So surprised by how good this is. The best songs are all feature songs but Keri sounds great alongside the likes of Kanye, NeYo and Akon so I'm not bothered. If she re-releases Energy/Return The Favour or goes with Change Me, she'll have more hits. Apparently Return The Favour might be the first UK single; The Box added it this week.

Also the Knock You Down video premieres on BET in 9 days, Monday March 23rd. It'll be a big hit.

Return the Favour looks set to be the first UK/European single just seen it on the music channels.
'Return the Favor' will do MUCH better here than 'TMO' but she should just wait until she releases 'Knock You Down' in the US and just Skip straight to that for first single over here!
