February 28, 200916 yr Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. :puke2: I'm glad that not even one of those in my school is a whore. :D BTW, I want her (the 15 y.o. teen) photo. :kink: I sincerely hope that this is an attempt at humour..... I should point out to you that we DO try to make this a more serious forum mate. Not saying we dont have fun every now and then (you know, like poking fun at the likes of Bush, Darling or Broon), but we try to make it mainly serious points and what have you... I think this issue is really something we have to keep incredibly serious, because it IS so fukkin' depressing... And I frankly find it a bit bloody scandalous that the coppers dont see fit to seriously prosecute these scum who used this girl for their own financial ends.. I'm just wondering what it is they're covering up here, I mean, is the Chief Super a client at this "agency" or summat.....? I think we should be told, because I really dont see how it serves the public interest to apparently just drop this matter without a further, rigourous investigation into these "escort agencies" in general... What the hell is the "vice squad" for if not to pursue these sorts of matters.....? As for the girl herself, it's a tad unfair to label her a "whore", she's just a young kid, naive, probably thought it was all just a laugh, and just didn't realise she was having her body used by dirty b/astards for their own ends, thank fukk she at least had the sense to take precautions, I've heard horror stories of young lasses who worked the streets without using condoms (the Scottish Daily Record did a pretty shocking expose into schoolgirl prostitution about 7 or 8 years ago)... In fact, I'd be quite interested to know if the girl had watched the Billie Piper "drama" series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, because to me, that show just presented prostitution as a "bit of a laugh" itself.... Still, I just bet that Max Clifford is gonna end up "representing" this girl at some point down the road..... <_<
February 28, 200916 yr Why am i not surprised to read that this girl was from the UK. It was the most read story on Yahoo!7 and the Brisbane Courier websites at one point today. they are both Australian sites. Our country has such a bad international rep right now. Bushes Lap Dogs >>>> Iraq >>>> Teenage Pregnancy being worst in Europe (With Dundee being named Europe's capital) >>>> More USA Butt Licking >>>> Economic Crisis (i know we like to follow the americans around as they pretend to police the world but did we really need to follow them into recession as well) >>>> 12 yr old father >>>> Teen Hooker. No wonder we get the p*** taken out of us world wide, and why there are so many brits living abroad. I know that i want to jump ship as soon as i graduate. I would switch uni's and finish my course out here after my exchange, but i can't afford the £14000 fees. :(

Trouble is, if all the "good people" such as yourself jump ship, then the danger is that the country is being left to the Chavs, the Express/Mail readers and BNP voters.... But I wont say that I'm not seriously considering it as an option as well, we really are just going to the dogs.... In the boldened part, I think you've pretty much summed up most of what's wrong with the country... I come from Dundee originally, and I can certainly vouch for what you're saying there, also the biggest concentration of drug addicts and alkies as well allegedly.... -_- Couple of things you missed out though mate - Celeb Culture, WAGs, X-Factor and Max Clifford.....

Dundee is really chavtastic. To be quite frank an utter dive. When it comes to jumping ship, be careful where you choose. There are a lot of places that look nice and rosy but are hiding horrific things, tho i would recommend Australia with all my heart. Even if i nearly died of heat today  36 in a city is not nice. the shameful thing is it's not an exaggeration the country is literally going to the dogs. We have SNP fast forwarding scotland into a big depression, when at one point it looked like we'd pull through ok. Everything seemed fine, our house prices were the last to colapse then it just went down hill over night. HBOS went, then RBS..... OfCom fans and Chav scum will be the only ones left because they can't afford the airfare. They have either spent too much on Buckfast/Fags or phoning f***ing OfCom to complain about the most trivial pointless thing possible. And lets not start about the PC brigade. Aus seems to have escaped that so far. EG they can take the p*** out of Kevin Rudd on TV without getting threatened with the sack

So, wont be moving there mate, sorry.....

So, wont be moving there mate, sorry..... ah yes, Aussie Customs. They are quite possibly the strictest in the world. And immigration wise, the country can't cope with anymore. they already have severe droughts and most of Aus is just uninhabitable. The Abo's thing is unforgivable
March 1, 200916 yr they already have severe droughts and most of Aus is just uninhabitable. The Abo's thing is unforgivable They perhaps just dont understand that though... And, well, it's not as if these people just decide on a whim to risk life and limb on a makeshift raft or leaky boat to cross extremely dangerous waters, when you talk about places like Burma or Indonesia where the most terrible oppression and human rights violations take place, well, for these people, Australia probably seems like the bloody Garden of Eden.... I dont really think treating them so inhumanely is the road to go down for a country which wants to appear civilised, free and democratic.... I dislike the term "abo" personally, it just seems dismissive or rather degrading (the term "aussie" by contrast is far more affectionate...), you know, like "Injun", "p@ki" or "coon"..... Even worse when you consider that, like the Native Americans, the "Abos" were there first..... Did you see that pretty damn good Aussie film "Jindabyne" from a couple of years back (a good contemporary 'follow on' film from the fantastic and truly emotional "Rabbit Proof Fence" which dealt very explicitly with the absolutely shameful "stolen generations" episode in Australian history)....? Just seems like attitudes towards the "Abos" just haven't really improved all that much since the 40s or 50s....

They are quite possibly the strictest in the world. And immigration wise, the country can't cope with anymore. they already have severe droughts and most of Aus is just uninhabitable. The Abo's thing is unforgivable Absolutely unforgivable. :( BTW, Isn't Australia a good place to live?? My brother wants to move there but it seems there something's wrong as you mentioned...
March 1, 200916 yr Tbh, im not really surprised by this but i am interested in the reason WHY she done/does it.. With free education and there isnt much for a 15 year old to pay for, it will be interesting to hear...
March 1, 200916 yr Absolutely unforgivable. :( BTW, Isn't Australia a good place to live?? My brother wants to move there but it seems there something's wrong as you mentioned... It's amazing Just very hot and very dry in the south over summer. and just very hot in the north all year round tbh. Brisbane doesn't get cold ever. The East coast is beautiful. It can be hard to get a visa, but it's worth it.
March 1, 200916 yr Are the young lasses you mentioned about the same age as the schoolgirl in this thread? Apparently, according to the Record, they were even younger..... :(
March 1, 200916 yr It can be hard to get a visa, but it's worth it. It's prob not as hard for someone from UK as it is for someone from, say, South East Asia though......

Plenty get through because the f***ing place is crawling with them. I'm no racist but i was shocked at how many there were here. as for those who cross the ocean, its the same as those crossing the channel but less dangerous and unlike the brits the aussies kick them back out unless they have a- a valid visa or b- have proper grounds for asylum. they have strict visa conditions for everyone regardless of their country of origin, i did my visa online and i had to do a massive section about my character to make sure i was a good citizen. You can't have criminal convictions that mount to a prison sentence of more than 12months for all your convictions, and it's not length served but length given. Even the New Zealanders fall foul to that one. The thing with the asians that try to cross that sea, and rather stupidly too, it's full of sharks and Aussie customs officers. most of those are coming illegally and have intentions to work illegally in Aus and avoid paying taxes etc. which the Aussie's don't like. They have no problems with genuine visitors but they are more than happy to cancel visa's at the boarder of those who are gonna work on a tourist visa. If you have Sky/Virgin or access to it i advise watching "Nothing To Declare" on LivingTV/Living2 it shows you how aussie customs works instead of my inarticulate post
March 2, 200916 yr As for the bloody asians. Plenty get through because the f***ing place is crawling with them. I'm no racist but i was shocked at how many there were here. Not a great response to an accusation of insensitivity... you replaced "abos" with "crawling with bloody asians" The thing with the asians that try to cross that sea, and rather stupidly too, it's full of sharks and Aussie customs officers. most of those are coming illegally and have intentions to work illegally in Aus and avoid paying taxes etc. which the Aussie's don't like. They go to Australia with the intention to work, period. If Australia won't grant them a visa, they can't get "legal" jobs so they'll work illegally or in the informal sector. Australia, like every developed country, relies on below market wage labor provided by immigrants.
March 2, 200916 yr And the Australian government and the Australian Customs take great pleasure in finding these illegals and removing them. Unlike the UK who just prefer to ignore the problem entirely and hope it'll go away on its own. There is no need for employers to use illegals here. The unemployment rate in Queensland has rocketed recently

Come on mate, sounds pure BNP rhetoric to me... And, frankly, you're in no position to talk, YOU'RE a "bloody immigrant" yourself.... :P It's really only the Aborigines who have any nature-given "right" to occupy the land, everyone else in Oz is either an immigrant or descended from an immigrant or a deported/transported criminal (hello, remember Botany Bay..?)..... I get a little peed off when I hear people talk like this tbh, especially when they themselves are living in glass houses.... Australia is a nation built upon immigration (well, that and white people murdering and attempting to ethnically cleanse the Aborigines and stealing their land and mineral wealth.... ) to say that one bunch of immigrants (who, remember, actually live a lot closer geographically to Oz than white Europeans ever did..) should somehow not be allowed a slice of the cake is a bit off.... The illegal employment and sweat shops probably wouldn't exist if these "bloody asians" were allowed to work legitimately by your govt.... And you fail to realise that the problem is more with these scumbag employers who are the ones who really reap the benefits from illegal labour, the employees themselves, I think you'll find, are being paid next to bugger all and expected to work long hours, most are probably indentured labour, treated little better than slaves....

I am aware of slave labour how crap they are paid and their generally poor conditions. I am a Accounts major and have spent over 6years studying Business in various forms. And it isn't my government ;) unless we want to heap more blame on Salmond which i am all for tbh. I am not an immigrant, I am still a Brittish citizen, i'm just doing a semester abroad. So basically i'm a glorified tourist. and my geography unlike my english is fully up to scratch so i know where asia is in relation to the EU and aus. I even had a layover in Singapore. ;) I knew there would be plenty of people from different backgrounds and cultures in australia which is part of my reason to come down under. the others being weather and the fact that they use ICAS. an important accounting thing which means i still get my professional exemptions from the uk. My shock came at the fact that when i first arrived at Griffith University a week ahead of orientation it was a case of spot the Caucasian. coming from a small town near Dundee where there is approx 1 non white family it was quite a shock to the system. Something i wasn't quite prepared for I have no idea what happened at Botany Bay. i can only assume it was not a good thing. I personally against illegal workers as it exploits the poor soul working illegally. Fine it may be more than what they get paid back home, but it's never anywhere near enough to support a life in that country. Oh and Asians have only very recently migrated to Aus. That area of the world has historically been less developed than Europe , Australia and the US/Canada. There are a lot of ins and outs of the Australian immigration system that i don't understand nor do i pretend to but i do know they have reasons for what they do. There was something on Nothing To Declare about protecting the Aussie labour market. To be quite frank, i think we are both sitting on opposite sides of a fence here and neither of us want to move.

Botany bay was where all the transported prisoners actually landed when they were taken over in the prison ships.... I totally agree that illegal labour has no place in a civilised society, I too am totally against it.. But, I tend to blame the 'employers' and the State a lot more.... The state in the UK and US allows illegal labour to happen under the table, I bet in Aus too, they just make it look as though they're being "tough", the workmasters pay off the cops or a few local politicians, they probably get left to their own devices... It talks the talk of "doing something" about it, but that's just so much bollocks really, the facts are that the Capitalist system generally relies upon the workers being exploited and workers' movements being weak and fragmented.... Strong, unified workers' groups are not generally something that Governments want to deal with because they then start demanding far too many rights, better pay, better conditions, etc..... Workers getting a good deal is not good for "Free Market Capitalism".... ...And then, when these fukkin' Capitalists completely cock it all up, who is it they come to...? The hard-working taxpayer to bail them out of their sh!t......
March 2, 200916 yr A Tyneside schoolgirl earned about £14,000 in just two months by working as a prostitute, a court heard. Wow! I really need to get into this business.
