One guys tweets about album party:

Few things about the new Sats album. Firstly' a lot of it's quite chilled-out. Second, loved Ego! Right Here is basically No Air with ...different singing, fourthly the album One Shot sounds more electro-pop than the rockier tour version (think electro-basslines in octaves)
Oh I hope they haven't ruined One Shot. :( I adore the live version.

How many times do we have to tell you, its not Rochelle. She's been replaced by VV Brown. They're hoping no one notices.

Thanks Ryan. Cant wait to hear One Shot in HQ now.

Keisha's free apparently now too :kink: Or is that just a rumour I heard.

From Popjustice:

Review of sorts as just back from the first listening party at Newcastle, only 4 girls there as Vanessa couldnt speak or sore throat or someting. Lovely girls, all very chatty and pleasent even after a long day of radio interviews in scotland and the north.

Anyway "One shot" and "wordshaker" are on the album, sounding just as they did on the tour...the single "forever is over" may be an album version ie extended a bit to my ears, could be wrong.

"Not good enough" is on the album too, much to my shock and surprise, sounds untweeked too.Very happy about this!

the album flows nicely, all very similar to the single, more real guitary music meets electro, kinda little Kelly Clarkson in a good way. lots of big vocals ect.enough uptempo tracks too.

So its our sats still but a little more grown up sounding, very polished and slick pop though.

PS at no point did i hear the album name mentioned and it totally slipped my mind to ask them.

Also the lable guy said this was new to them and in this day of downloads and illegal rips ect that the lables are very paranoid these days but they wanted to share the love and put it out there for the fans to hear (words to those effects) said ahve a great time and spread the work ect, they may do more in the future now. Also their were no confidential documents to sign and nobody was monitoring use of phones or cameras at all.

We were allowed free soft drinks and they had a table with loads of pick and mix on it, plus a printed off a4 picture to get signed.kinda budget but in a nice way.

Excellent ta! Hope theres some youtube vid's out there soon :D

This album release has really crept up on us out of nowhere!

Starting to get really excited at the thought of HQ Wordshaker and OS nevermind the rest of it! :D

Sounds great then! Shame we still dont know the flipping title though
I like Wordshaker as a title. :)
Hmmm nice title! I personally preferred 'Colonial Masses' but it sounds too Rocky/indie for them so perhaps it was for the best :heehee: 'Wordshaker' fits nicely though.

Wordshaker's a decent name, definitely better than 'Colonial Masses'

I'm really looking forward to this now!

Great title, so glad we finally got told the title.

Shouldn't someone edit the topic title? :P

Now that review copies are being sent out - it shouldn't be too long before we get to hear it
