YAY for September!

Never expected it to do this well, maybe Top 10 in the next update even? :o Shame to see Kelly falling quite rapidly though. :(

How is Kelly falling "Rapidly"? She's slipped one place in 2 days...

Halo > Already Gone

Keep climbing Halo!

And lol at Kelly's vocal over Bee's

Gotta say for a number one single which people said climbed to the top as quick as Gaga/Lily did and had such a big lead, to fall to 6 within a fortnight is pretty rapid...

Well maybe not rapidly, but for a #01 single she has fallen quite quickly imo.
Well like that I suppose. But it'll have a not too long, but not too short sort of run (Similar too Sara Bareilles last year) :D at least that way people won't get too bored of it :D (ala Kings of Leon :P)

I like Bey but I think you'd have to be fairly delluded/looned-up to deny how shouty her vocal on Halo is. It's the one thing that actually detracts from the song. No emotion whatsoever!

 at Already Gone vs. Halo

Anyway, great to see Katy holding up. And, I'll have another look but I can't see Islands In The Stream (CR Version) in the Top 120 anymore

I suppose, I still wanted it to have a healthy chart run though. :(

It's heavy atmosphere makes the song as strong as it is. It's deeply emotional and delivers a feeling of security through Beyonce's vocals. It's infectious, tear-jerking (semi) and uplifting (in some ways). It's core emotion just make the song even better in many ways. I don't know why this isn't chosen as the first single.

The lyrics and the way the song is built up may make it seem like it's full of emotion, but I don't really see how she has emotion in her voice, it's just over the top shouty vocals. Don't get me wrong, I still really like 'Halo', just nowhere near as much as 'Already Gone'.
