BBC sitcom Birds Of A Feather could make a comeback, reports The Mirror.

Original cast members Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph have been asked to make another series by the team behind the classic sitcom.

Quirke, who played Sharon Theodopolopodous in the show, said they would be willing to return if the scripts were good.

"People remember Birds Of A Feather so fondly because it didn’t tail off at the end, the standard of the scripts didn’t deteriorate," said the actress. "We’d be keen to maintain that standard. None of us would want to make a new series that was below standard. I’d rather stay at home doing the housework."

Quirke is now waiting to see what stories the scriptwriters come up with. "How about three old girls in a nursing home, talking around a table? If we leave it much longer, it might come to that."

I so so hope it happens as i loved the show, also if a new series was done those of us who are fans of the show will stand a better chance of getting series 2-9 released om dvd

I always liked this, I watched it on YouTube the other day and it's just as funny/more funny now I'm grown-up. Do what Pauline says though and don't bring it back unless it's just as good!

What'll I Do

When You

Are Far Away?

When I Am Blue

What'll I Do?

 Always loved this, would be great to see it back.

I found it about as enjoyable as a bout of herpes tbh

The same old recycled jokes in terms of Dorien and her sex life, the same old entrances from her "cooooooooooo eeeeeeeeee" and so on, seen one episode of Birds Of A Feather seen them all, found it boring and repetitive after a while

i loved it all the way and still miss it and i just hope that one day they release all series on dvd i would love to have all the episodes its my fave british comedy of them all

I saw Lesley Joseph once! :o

I used to watch it all the time, but can't really remember it tbh and probably didn't understand most of it, because I must have been pretty young!

was lesley a nice person tO meet???

I didn't really 'meet' her as such, just walked past her once. I was in Bristol once and I think she must have been performing in a musical of some sort because she was standing outside the Hippodrome! She turned around and was talking with her mouth full which wasn't too pleasant! :(

Oh no geriatrics of a feather, no thanks. It should be left in the past to be the preserve of budget digital channels.
I thought it was rubbish to be honest, definitely not one of my favourites. and i've never liked Pauline Quirke in anything
