Lol, no pun intended :P

I meant why is it so high in the chart, and thought it might have been because of the Kilimajaro programme

Yep Greatest Day was the background music when they reached the summit.

UGHH, I swear i'll paint the town red when the day The Saturdays arent on iTunes or the radio or ANYWHERE! =/ I thought JCGE would be the last of them for the year but Work! :o ANOTHER VILE SINGLE -> SUICIDE. Horrid overhyping. One thing is for sure, the girl group they've been copying will EASILY outpeak/outsell Work so at least one good thing comes out of it - The Sats and their 'living' dream of taking over the Uk with their 'fab girl groupness' will most certainly be shortlived ..

Yes I agree GA are miles better!

But, you seem obsessed with the Sats  !

You've made your point countless times and it's getting a bit silly now. I agreed with you before when people were telling you not to post but now you're clearly baiting and just trying to anger people.

There is no point trying to have a GA vs sats thing going off because they are on the same label, they wouldnt allow it to happen.

But i do think the sats are pushing it with this 4th single. They have had some good songs with this album but we have been completely overloaded with them. I dont actually think the average music lover cares about the sats to be honest.

Im not even going to bother saying anything here, it's not worth it.

Oh dont be so dramatic.

Coz you are usually so quiet and unopinionated

I don't think it's an overload? It's almost the same structure as the "WWTNS?" era for Girls Aloud:

cover/sample for the first release > launch album on second single > third single > charity single > final single.

I do think promoting the final single the week after their last one peaked at #2 is a bit much perhaps.

Unfortunately GA vs The Sats does happen on places other than here. When watching Ant & Dec today, during their performance, there were comments along the lines of "they're trying to be GA but they aren't as good". -_- I would have tried to say the Sats sounded better live, but it seemed like they were mostly miming.

I'm sick to death of these Girls Aloud vs Sugababes vs The Saturdays vs My Nan's Dancing Queens. Who cares?

I don't get why people can get so bitter and more to the point how they can argue constantly. Maybe Sugababes vs Girls Aloud I can see... kind off... in the most minature way but Girls Aloud and The Saturdays? They're both essentially the same thing. It's a bit like Burger King and McDonalds - in reality they're the same, but they're just dressed up differently which is a bit like The Saturdays and Girls Aloud. I don't see how people can't just like all 3 bands and just enjoy each of their music.

Yes, they're miming performances are always rather cringy to watch tbh

A&D comes to the end of the series run in a few weeks so it isnt like they could have appeared on it closer to the release though i agree it isnt ideal to appear just a week after Just Cant Get Enough's release, it probably would have made more sense to perform that instead.

Exactly

I said this yesterday or the day before, i dont understand how someone is able to like GA but find The Saturdays $h!t (or vice versa). The music is generally the same.

For me, it should have been either comic relief single or 4th single from the album, both is just ridiculous. And thats proven by performing one single on one night and the next single the night after, thats just crazy.

Ive never seen the sats as a rival to GA because for me, i saw GA give birth to the sats on tour and they like each other and are all embracing pop. Why would GA hate on a band that is eseentially pure pop? Thats just crazy. There is no sats vs GA and i do wish people would stop trying to make it happen.

I was VERY disappointed with them miming on Ant & Dec's yesterday. If they keep up with that lack of effort I can see them heading for a fall sooner than you think. Most people HATE lip syncing..

THANKYOU.

I like them all. If only other people could follow suit.

and me...

I found both of their latest albums to be rather patchy and lacking in variety. "Out Of Control" is nearly all dull in an attempt to sound mature and "Chasing Lights" was 1 fab song ("Up") bunched with a lot of "good" songs, which doesn't really work as an album. I can't really rate one above the other, they're too similar as groups.

Of course the two groups get on but when you get two girl groups releasing at the same time there will always be fanbases pitting them against each other. It's just the sort of fans these kind of groups attract where you get a "you can only love one group, you cannot be impartial, it's a case of them vs us" attitude. It would be the same if it was The Sats and Sugas having a good era and GA having a not-so-good one.
