Absolutely fantastic to see PSB at #1. However, the passage in the MusicWeek report about Yes being docked 2,500 iTunes sales worries me. Have those already been removed or does the current figure still include them, meaning that the album, in reality, is at #2?

Thanks.

Why is this low when that heap of $h!t by Florida is #2?

I wonder that too - everyone likes September and the reviews for the single on iTunes are proper positive. I'm not sure why it did so bad.

I think it suffers because it isnt American and urban. I mean why not it make it possible to disqualify sales made by chavs?

That's a bit of a generalisation. I like a bit of American and urban music, but I wouldn't consider myself a chav. -_-

I haven't seen if anyone has asked, but where are Enrique/Ciara exactly in the top 30?

When was the last time that a track from a new artist used in a advert (Noisettes; Mazda ads) before it's release reached No1?

JXL?

Mr Ozio?

I know The Bluebells - Young At Heart was used to a Car advert, on its second release and peaked at No.1, looking back I would say Mr.Oizo was the last artst to reach #1 from a car advert.

Noisettes aren't really new, they've had two top 75 'hits' one in 2006, one in 2007.

I shall rephrase then; when was the last time that a track from a artist without any previous top40 hits used in a advert (Noisettes; Mazda ads) before it's release reached No1?

There were Stiltskin, Babylon Zoo and Mr Oizo from the Levi ads in the 90's...

i was wondering why i downloaded the PSB album off itunes on Saturday and not Sunday.

Go Noisettes, Go Noisettes Go. Don't Upset The Gaga Fans, No. Well, they can..I am a Gaga fan, just a huge Don't Upset The Rhythm, and it went well together :P

And, ouch. The Islands In The Stream fall is going put a huge dent in my Ben Predictions.

this might sound stupid, but what does 12+12 and things like that meen whilst talking about albums and singles?

thanks :)

Lets say you asked where Take That were, and Martin says 20+13...do the sum, so the answer would be 33. Meaning that the single or album is at #33 :)

Noisettes for #1 :D

Top 40

White Lies

Hope they can hold this. :D

Id like the Noisettes to be number one. I prefer Gaga, but I like having lots of number ones, and Poker Face is gonna be top 10 forever anyway.. :)

I hope Gaga's album can climb to a new peak though.. I know #1 is unlikely, but I think reaching #2 is quite possible, considering Ronan will plummet by the end of the week! :P

amazing for Lily.

However i wonder if "not fair" will do what Beyonce - single ladies did and peak long before its released!

I hope it goes top 3 for her but i have a feeling it might not just because of how well its doing now.

I think the whole top 6 will be very tight. Pleasantly surprised Taylor Swift is number 3, but I think she will be number 6 on Sunday.

My prediction of the top 5 is as follows:

1. Poker Face

2. Noisettes

3. Flo Rida

4. A R Rahman/PCD

5. Beyonce (Halo)

Oh WOW! Didn't expect Pet Shop Boys to be #1 in the albums - hope they can hold (haven't brought it yet though)
