Finished Watching now. Im in 2 parts about if Mona deserved the chop, she was possibly the weakest of the remaining 8 and only did anything remotly impressive last week. Based on this task alone, i would have fired Debra, she's really grating on me now and i think Howard is close to killing her. James is beginging to lose it now, im expecting him to go next week if he's on the losing team.

The episode must have been heavily edited then if the claims of drunk Lorraine and homophobic Mona are true.

Im pleased Kate is back to form and Yas has now won as PM twice.

New Rankings

1. Yasmina

2. Kate

3. Howard

4. Lorraine

5. Debra

6. Ben

7. James

I like James but i think he'll go next, well either him or Ben. Debra needs to make the interviews just for the pure hilarity of it. Yasmina FTW!

Debra was a HIDEOUS team leader in every way and should have got the push.

She RAILROADED her way into the position by promising Howard a creative role, only to then try and take over on that side aswell! And she f***ed it up! The main flaw was the leaflet design! And who was looking after that? Howard and....DEBRA.

Mona I kind of felt sorry for. I'm not going to judge on the homophobia row, as we weren't shown it, so who knows what's true and what isn't?

But she said from the start she didn't like the idea. Lorraine did this many times on previous occasions, and got praised for it, not fired for being negative.

On the plus side, Howard today seemed like a real candidate for the first time. There's still something NOT RIGHT with his face though.

07. DEBRA - DIE

^Me and my family spent half of the episode discussing that very point. We came to the conclusion thaaat it's his teeth (need straightening up) and his eyes are also far apart which is made more obvious by the piercing colour of them.
Debra deserves to go for her dictatorial arrogance, especially regarding the leaflet adding all that information.

But as this is the politically correct BBC surely Mona is toast.

surely if the beeb was being pc mona would have stayed

it was daft going for just the gay market as that alienates the majority straight population. it ISNT just gay people with disposable income, oap's do too have money and in these credit crunch times families are looking for cheap holidays at home as opposed to holidays abroad.

Yes, but the other team went just for the family market, which may alienate gay people. I am sure that Empire would have won if the posters and leaflet had been better, their idea was more of a rebranding, and more exciting.

Well yes, there is that, but he was obviously referring to the homophobia row that was mostly edited out of the episode. Of course we wont get to see it now, but if the press about it was right, it was the PC thing to do to fire her. She didn't exactly deserve to go over Debra, from what we saw, did she?

Oh definitely, rebranding a beach resort as a family area didn't seem new exactly. Isn't that what Margate was meant to be anyway? (albeit one that people weren't visiting any more) It didn't seem like a very creative idea. But the incomplete leaflet and posters that looked more like leaflets ruined it for the other team.

That is exactly the point I was making.

Anyway my Rankings:

NEW RANKING

01. James - his face for the reward of the winning team last night was priceless.

02. Lorraine

03. Howard

04. Yasmina

05. Kate

06. Ben

07. Debra - Pantomine season as an evil baddie awaits.

And more importantly what I think the outcome could be:

01. Kate

02. Howard

03. Yasmina

04. Debra

--------------------

05. James

06. Lorraine

07. Ben

I think Kate, Howard & Yasmina are gimme's for the Final 4 unless they screw up badly in the next few weeks. I'm basing Debra surviving to the last four on her ability to stay in the contest (twice now) despite being the obvious stand out candidate to go and thinking she would do a better interview than James; Lorraine; Ben when they get to the last five stage.

the family market though is bigger then the gay market, they should target the largest market assuming they cant appeal too all, gay, family, oaps. maybe they should have found out exactly what facilities there are in margate and tailor their pitch towards those.

You are quite right. His eyes seem inhuman. And also his skin. He has pockmarked skin.

And he also looks like a zombie.

Like I said, not all that.

I've finally watch Wednesday's show,

Mona was pretty useless, but Debra could have gone as well. That leaflet thing was ridiculous.

The other team quite clearly pissed all over them.

Anyone watching this right now ?

Yes :heehee:

"Lorraine's instinct": the collapsable buggy = $h!t or bust.

I love the Rockin' Horse, but will it sell for that price.

I think Lorraine is so heading out of the competition tonight.

I've always really liked Lorraine, she relies heavily on her instinct and I think it's pretty "gutsy" how she is, even though she doesn't really appear it and is pretty annoying half the time. Wouldn't surprise me if she went.

Whispers: I've been a Lorraine fan as well. I find her naivety in this competition is quite endearing and leaves her wide open to strategic game playing backstabbers.
