The final peaked at 19.19 million (76.1%) making it the most watched non-sporting event since an episode of Coronation Street in 2003. Overall, the final was the fifth most watched programme of the century. The series unofficially averaged 12.35m (52.4%), making it the most watched British reality series of the century. It easily surpasses the previous record of 9.7m (42%) gained by The X Factor (UK series 5).

1% for 2 Grand, what a shame but obviously it's a fix because during the results show before the lines closed i couldn't get through to them as all the family decided that we wanted to vote for them again.
