Answering the question: i prepared the votes in Word document and the scoreboard with all the votes. When there was time for X country to vote i found the 'X' column (sp?) and submitted it to the votes so that the 'current leaderbord' is done :cheer: I only need to copy/paste the actual votes and this leaderboard. Of course providing with my poor comments and NUMEROUS size/bold etc tags :cheer: I REALLY do NOT want to be the host again! :rofl:

Yes. :lol: I kinda like all the fancy votes...apart from when I'm going crazy trying to verify them. That's when you appreciate the people who just post their 12-1 points and nothing else. :lol:

 

I feel like a bit of a Scrooge as when I hosted I rewrote everyone's votes getting rid of all their comments to make it uniform and easy to follow (OCD?) it was genuinely the most annoying thing when people went:

when I hosted just to make it clearer so that as soon as you look at it you can see exactly who's the favorite getting the 12. Also I always post Country: Artist - Song to make sure I have got the right song in each of the positions.

If I'm honest I'm considering doing the same. It might be boring to read but making things all the same seems the right thing to do. I like my 12 at the top, 1 at the bottom. All the different formats feels messy when hosting imo.

That's the ideal way I find. Perhaps not when countries have more than one entry in the final, but I'd rather get:

coz i was matching song names, as by the middle of the week i knew where they were on the spread sheet, but i couldn't tell you half the contest numbers.

 

The country and contest was good for verification in TBO.

Sorry, I just think it all looks cleaner this way. I think I actually did this in VII too. I don't mind people sending them in alternative ways (you haven't seen one of the ways I've received votes so far :rofl:) but it seems better to reveal them in the most simple way possible.

I had such a climatic/anticlimactic build up to the 12 on the go an everythin
