according to ticketmaster set times are:

Doors - 6.30pm

Mew - 6.45pm - 7.05pm

Jane's Addiction - 7.25pm - 8.40pm

NIN - 9pm - 11pm

thank f*** for 2 hours of NIN

I didn't end up going as I went to see TV on the Radio instead, but my friend said the concert was okay. He said they just played most of the stuff that they played the last time he saw them thoughzz. Oh and he said that Jane's Addiction was the $h!ttiest thing he had ever seen, walked out after 15 minutes.

They are headlining @ T in the Park and given the utter trash that is headlining the other stages i might just go and see NIN out of curiosity.

Anythin you can recommend for me to listen too before i go?

So, Mew are only on for 20 minutes.....?  God, that's a bit cr@p innit for a band who are supposedly the "next big thing" or whatever, I seem to remember Dresden Dolls and Ladytron getting pretty decent length sets - 45 minutes or so.... It's kind of bad that Mew aren't getting a longer set, it's less drinking time innit.....

Cheers, i'll give em a spin with the DM stuff i've been meaning to get to when my exams are done ^_^

even if you dont like the music (i can't see NIN being your sort of thing  ) i'd reccomend seeing them anyway just for the live show, they are honestly that good, for example, Jake off here is going to the o2 gig and he inst really a fan of the music, he just wants to see them live, my mate another, said they were the best band he has seen after seeing them Reading 08 and he isnt overly keen on the music, and he is also going to the o2 gig, so yeah basically they are worth seeing live just to see them lol.

Just looked at the T in the Park line up, definatly better than The Killers and Manic Street Preachers live

I've been told they are quite good. For sure not my chosen genre tho

I saw bit of Rage Against The Machine last year. Most certainly not my kinda music, but they were rather good as a live act. I got rather bored of the Kaiser Chiefs after 30minutes of crap songs. I decided it really wasn't worth it to see the two good songs. iirc they did one of em early on too. So me and my friend watched from the skirts coz we couldn't find our more rock loving friend, her little sis and her cousin :heehee:

oh yes Rage  saw them at Reading, definatly the most mental crowd i have been in!

Where has anyone called them the next big thing? :/ They've been around for quite sometime and they don't get much hype? Besides the usual acclaim from Pitchfork, etc...
