Haha completely agree on that. She just seems to scream...not good at all!

The first time I downloaded it, it didn't open properly, so I'm having to download it again from a second link! :drama:

'Rock That Body' and 'Now Generation' leaked a bit before the whole album though, so I've got those two!

'Rock That Body' is BRILLIANT! :o Like you said, it sounds messy, but that's the appeal about the song! Oh and Fergie's Vocoded voice :kink:

ROFL I love the beginning of 'Simple Little Melody'!

3+1=4=B.E.P, BITCH!

7 Tracks in and so far, it's f***ing IMMENSE!

I LOVE it! COMPLETELY different to their previous albums and sure as hell of alot BETTER too! 'I Gotta Feeling' is still my fave so far though ;o

BRILLIANT album! Did NOT disappoint

My favourite 5 in order:

01| 'I Gotta Feeling'

02| 'Alive'

03| 'Rock That Body'

04| 'Boom Boom Pow'

05| 'Simple Little Melody'

My 3rd fave album of the year so far :P Behind Keri and Kelly (Naturally :kink:)

My favourite five in order:

01| Imma Be

02| Boom Boom Pow

03| Rock That Body

04| Alive

05| Meet Me Halfway

Mine would go;

01 Rock That Body

02 Out Of My Head

03 Imma Be

04 Electric City

05 I Got A Feeling

---

06 Party All The Time

So I've skipped over what we already had (barr BBP since it has a new opening). Thoughts:

Boom Boom Pow \ The intro is definitely interesting but I can't be arsed with it every time I want to listen LOL. Won't be going on my ipod.

Rock That Body \ Absolutely brilliant - apart from the fact that Fergie's vocal isn't recognisable whatsoever which sort of means it couldn't be a single I guess? Great song though.

Out Of My Head \ Oof, so this is basically a Fergie solo then? Brilliant. I LOVE her 'I think I drunk too much!' spoken part! A highlight.

Electric City \ A lot of fun. Very funky beat.

Showdown \ Just okay... nothing particularly special. The chorus is pretty hard-hitting though so perhaps it'll grow. Oh, crappy outro.

Now Generation \ Excuse me while I cringe. What a preachy song! It's uplifting enough in sound but the rock thing isn't really for them.

One Tribe \ Lovely chilled vibe, nice to go with a unique sort of sound. Is the 'let's catch amnesia' lyric a Don't Phunk reference?

Rockin To The Beat \ Don't really understand why this was included. Empty song.

Simple Little Melody \ I could so do with that dreadful 1+1+1 intro. It works much better as the outro... Otherwise what a stomper! Great pop/trance hybrid backing track. Late standout!

Mare \ Pretty difficult to listen to.

In conclusion then... definitely one of the best albums of 09 and easily the Peas' best to date. I love that we get so much Fergie and that they explore a dancier sound than previously. They've evolved which is always a plus. It is over-long and a couple of songs won't be going onto my ipod - Mare, Rockin To The Beat - but otherwise it's fantastic.

My thoughts after 1-3-xx times of listening to the songs. Point (of 10):

Boom Boom Pow - 9. The single made controversy between the fans, but now most think that it is brilliant. For me, it's the most innovative sound of 2009, it's the new trand in music fashion.

Rock That Body - 10. It is OMG, awesome!!! The best track in the album. Fantastic up-tempo with rich sound and vocoded Fergie only improves the brilliancy of the song.

Meet Me Halfway - 10. And again brilliant track which I want to listen again and again (if there wasn't Rock That Body :heehee: )

Imma Be - 9. Reminds me of My Humps, it is really good rhythm thing and it is a massive grower.

I Gotta Feeling - 9. Massiverly hyped track, produced by David Guetta definitenaly has its own sound despite of well-known Guetta attributes. It is commercial and the best 2nd single choice. Verses are a bit weak though.

Alive - 10. Fabulous. Simply fabulous. Ballady and leaking into the soul, this sound can't make me indifferent.

Missing you - 10. The fourth song which I give 10/10. :heehee: Fergie's vocals are just . Very strong track.

Ring-a-Ling - 7. To be honest, that 'ring-a-lings' are repetitive, but it's a good track after all which we remember after listening to it. Maybe I'll grow on it.

Party All The Time - 9. Another great track from this album, one of the most electronically inspired IMO.

Out of My Head - 8. At first listen I wanted to rank this even as sings, but Fergie saves this song.

Electric City - 7. Not bad rhythmic track, can't say anything about it.

Showdown - 8. Introduction is a bit stupid, to be honest. Although, the whole song is good and catchy.

Now Generation - 8. I think, this song is different to other songs in the album, it is more rocky, in a good way.

One Tribe - 6. I didn't get the feeling of this song at all, but I can't name it as bad, so I can't make a mark less than 6.

Rockin To Beat - 7. Introduction is noisy and unbearable, but then the things improve to a better quality. It is almost instrumental in the first half of it.

Simple Little Melody - 9. It is the most funny track in the album, it is very catchy, IMO. la-la-la-la-la-laaa...

Mare - 7. Reminds me a bit of M.I.A. influence. Africanny, it is created to jump around the fire.

So...

4 '10's, 5 '9's, 3 '8's, 4 '7's and one '6'. With this result I simply can't mark the whole album lower than 10/10. Best album of 2009 from what I've heard.

I can't put songs into order now, I'll do it later when listen to them more.

Only heard a few so far but I'm really liking Meet Me Halfway ^_^

Scores from my second full listen. Song with an * mean I'd listened a fair bit before the full leak haha.

09.5 *Boom Boom Pow \ Classic already.

09.0 Rock That Body \ Really sublime. Definitely a potential future single.

08.5 *Meet Me Halfway \ Big grower. Feels less demo-y than I'd previously thought.

04.0 *Imma Be \ Aside from a promising intro this is just...crap. It's gone from my iPod.

10.0 *I Gotta Feelin' \ The warm, summery vibe on this is crazy lush. I love that it's a sort of hip-hop-dance hybrid.

09.0 *Alive \ Great old-school chorus. A little over-long but otherwise an example of how versatile the Peas can be.

09.5 *Missing You \ Hard-hitting beat! The chorus is so strong and the build-up to it is immense. Fergie sounds insane.

08.5 *Ring-A-Ling \ The looped bleeps throughout this song should be SO ANNOYING. But the chorus is massive and Fergie's bridge is frigging brilliant. It only means one thing, bay-bayy.

09.5 *Party All The Time \ My life would be eeeeasayyy. This is a huge anthem! Can't get enough. Must be a single.

09.0 Out Of My Head \ More Fergie is never not a good thing. The spoken breakdown really fits and the chorus is mesmerising! God I love her too much.

08.0 Electric City \ Q: Why don't I hate this? A: Because it features Fergie yelling 'Kick em with the drum!' in a faux-Jamaican accent.

07.5 Showdown \ Musically I like it and the chorus demands attention but otherwise it's just a little plain and forgettable.

05.5 Now Generation \ Eww, references to google, facebook and wikipedia? Not cool Will.

08.0 One Tribe \ Honestly, I just think this has such an alternative, unexplored sound and a really cute message.

05.0 Rockin To The Beat \ Really empty. Pointless addition to the tracklist.

09.0 Simple Little Melody \ It's sort of a relief to have a song this short! Immense beat and aside from the intro (which I've removed), a stomper.

03.0 Mare \ Ear rape.

The E.N.D. \ 7.5/10

That's quite a misleading score though because by the time I've removed Imma Be, Now Gen, Rockin and Mare from my iTunes, it's a brilliant thirteen track album with no filler. Great album.

I'm LOVING this album! :o My favourites so far are 'Rock That Body', 'Meet Me Halfway', 'I Gotta Feeling', 'Alive' and 'Missing You'.

'Imma Be' is awful though, I really don't like it one bit.

09.5 Boom Boom Pow | Absolutely brilliant comeback single. Like the new intro too!

09.5 Rock That Body | Another brilliant track. Especially love the chorus - Fergie in super-vododed form absolutely makes this song.

09.0 Meet Me Halfway | Love the chorus of this - definitely the best part.

10.0 Imma Be | Standout track for me. Absolutely brilliant, the first half is definitely the best, but the whole song is awesome imo.

05.0 I Gotta Feelin' | Not keen on this at all - far too happy-clappy for my liking! :heehee:

09.5 Alive | Love the laid-back nature of this song. As Jark says, shows how versatile they are in style/ sound.

09.0 Missing You | Love the 'breakdown' in the beat. Definitely a grower, too! Just the chorus that lets it down slightly imo.

09.0 Ring-A-Ling | Love Fergie's part in this especially.

06.5 Party All The Time | Similar to 'I Gotta Feelin'' with its over-happy chorus, other than that it's an ok song!

08.5 Out Of My Head | I love the 'yeah, happy now?' part and Fergie's apparent drunkenness in the whole thing. Brilliant. If this is what it sounds like when Fergie's been drinking, definitely let her drink in future recording sessions!

07.5 Electric City | Love the intro. A nice track, but not anything special - I think it could be a big grower though.

07.0 Showdown | Chorus is decent enough, but definitely not a standout.

03.0 Now Generation | Just NO. Not keen on the backing music or Fergie's vocals at all. A mess.

07.0 One Tribe | This is ok, but like 'Showdown', definitely not a stand-out. Think it might suit Monkey Business more.

04.0 Rockin To The Beat | Filler. Just doesn't seem to go anywhere.

09.0 Simple Little Melody | I absolutely LOVE the intro/ outro and the whole song really!

09.0 Mare | Love the pronunciation of 'Mare' and a genuinely brilliant song. Great album closer.

Overall - 8/10

It really is a brilliant album, there are just a few disappointing songs, especially 'Now Generation' - what were they thinking?!

Although I'm not keen on 'I Gotta Feelin'', I think it's a great choice for single - seems pretty commercial and most people I know who've heard it think it's absolutely brilliant.

I defined my Top-5:

1. Rock That Body

2. Missing You

If there was only one song of these two in the whole album and others were $hit, that album would be good

3. Meet Me Halfway

4. Simple Little Melody

5. Alive

SOMEBODY TAKE 'MISSING YOU' OFF ME SO I DONT KEEP PLAYING IT ON REPEAT OKAY? OKAY
The bonus disk is pretty naff :/ [bar Don't Phunk Around, which I prefer to the original]
