April 21, 200916 yr I don't agree that Tinchy will necessarily be #1 on Sunday (except with the song title :w00t: ). Rap doesn't sell at all well on Amazon, and their ever-inceasing market share means they dilute iTunes influence on the overall chart nowadays. People tend to over estimate Amazon's impact on digital sales. Wild Young Hearts by The Noisettes has been #1 on amazon for the last 5 days, it has not even made it onto the top40 in the midweeks. Amazon's isn't making as much of an impact as they would like, thats why they're still selling songs and albums for cheap to try and increase their market share. What i believe is minimizing Itunes' monopoly are the other DOwnload sites (7digital, play.com, HMV). There are now more download sites and over the next few years that will increase, giving a nice boost to the market.
