May 2, 200916 yr http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee65/elbarto678/44a.jpg I should probably start watching Grey's Anatomy. God knows, I'm a sucker for glossy television and for the glamour of medical drama. Already on its sixth season in five years, GA sees lost of hunky doctors and pretty nurses get 'involved', from what I can tell. I presume there are some fans around who can tell me what the show is like? Several of you did vote for it, after all. 45pts \\ I got very, very bored with Gray's Anatomy tbh... Just came across a bit like "Friends" in a hospital.... imo, a poor man's "ER" with a bunch of 'Barbie and Ken' actors, and nowhere near as pleasingly nasty or hilariously spiteful as "House", which has, in Dr Gregory House, surely one of the greatest TV creations of all time....
May 2, 200916 yr but Catherine Tate is so painfully $h!t and unfunny all it needs is a 'just NO' that is all it's worth, if it wasnt the most cringeworthingly unfunny thing ever, Joy Division are more of a f***ing comedy act than her, whoever thought it was a f***ing good idea to hire her must has such a poor taste of humour. HONESTLY. Spot on Chris.... Tate got very tiresome, very quickly tbh.... And her presense in Dr Who was about as welcome as genital warts frankly.....
May 2, 200916 yr http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee65/elbarto678/38b.jpg I know literally nothing about this show. Infact, i've scarcely heard of it before this rate :heehee: I gather its some form of DRAMA/HORROR, most presumably about ghosts? Some fellows hunt ghosts/demons i hear? Maybe some of you who voted for it can fill me in, i know nothing. Therefore, probably crap. :kink: 49 Points \\ Supernatural is one of the best show on TV... A more than worthy successor to Buffy/X-Files, and some of the guys who were involved in X-Files regularly crop up as directors or scriptwriters on the show..... A damn sight better than absolute guff like Demons, which rips off this show so completely it's almost amusing.....
May 2, 200916 yr http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z165/Jark101/28.jpg From likeable to loathesome, this one should please a few of you! Paris and Nicole swanning around America prior to that fall-out, getting their hands vaguely dirty every once in a while and providing new definitions of spoiled brat-dom. Still, very entertaining. Seeing Nicole spill somebody's ashes all over a parlour floor was a real 'oh my god' tv moment. Definitely one of those reality shows which should've been a failure but captured the public's imagination and somehow ended up being so crap it was actually good. 61pts \\ ...nope, it was so cr@p it was cr@p in my book.... I could care less about a pair of over-priveleged Barbie dolls pratting around on a farm or whatever.....
May 2, 200916 yr No need to apologise :) And I'm one of the two people who has put work into this and would appreciate if you kept your faux-fuckery out. i understand that its "your" thread, but you have no power to stop me swearing its not against the [f***ing] law to [f***ing] swear, if a moderator of THIS forum, admin/GM asked me niclely to stop swearing then OK, but you cant [f***ing] stop me. THANKS :D oh and i was swearing so much to put the message across about how utterly $h!t Catherine Tate is.
May 2, 200916 yr Spot on Chris.... Tate got very tiresome, very quickly tbh.... And her presense in Dr Who was about as welcome as genital warts frankly..... i stopped watching Doctor Who as soon as they hired her LOL!

Could you please cut down on the swearing Chris? :teresa: I thought Catherine Tate was amazing in Dr Who! The first two series of the CT show are pretty funny too, but like Little Britain, she took it too far with a third series. I lol'd alot at the woman who screamed at random things (like flashing xmas lights). Nice banners, btw James and Jark!

I lol'd alot at the woman who screamed at random things (like flashing xmas lights). Nice banners, btw James and Jark! I think the third series of the CT show suffered due to her losing two of her writers (from the first two Series) who had gone off to create something called "Gavin & Stacey". So I would say she suffered more from the Harry Enfield syndrome+ rather than going against the Fawlty Towers law* of comedy. + (Paul Whitehouse & Charlie Higson used to write a significant amount of Harry Enfield's Television Programme during the late 1980s/early 1990s but split from writing for Harry in 1993 to create the even more funnier The Fast Show. As a result, from the first series of the Harry Enfield Television Programme minus the input of Whitehouse & Higson it was critically panned & the public stopped watching the show due to the drop in quality of the material remaining) * (only do two series of a successful sitcom then get out on top, as it will start to suffer from decreasing returns (see also Extras)). PS. The banners are really, really good.
May 2, 200916 yr Author http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z165/Jark101/26a.jpg Usually, I find panel shows ridiculously annoying. It's like, let's stick a bunch of knobs together, give them some scripted jokes and add the gameshow element for no apparent reason with a lack of sense. HOWEVER, I do find Buzzcocks bearable. But since we lost Bill Bailey it lost it's charm :drama: Sure beats the hell out of 8/10 Cats and the likes though... http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z165/Jark101/26b.jpg OK i know NOTHING about this, but wiki tells me it's an American drama television series based in New York? Perhaps those of you who voted for it could fill me in some more :o TEEN DRAMAS FTW. Sorry for the terrible comments, there are some shows coming up i can actually talk about. Honest. 64 Points \\
May 2, 200916 yr YAY Gossip Girl  Such an amazing show, although I need to watch the rest of Season Two. Blair is a goddess.
May 2, 200916 yr Buzzcocks is good. It was better before Amstell cut his hair but still funny. his hair was clearly the key to his comedy genius :heehee: I love Buzzcocks, especially if they get someone awful on to take the mick out of on the panel, like a member of Blue or N-Dubz

It lost some of the spark when Bill Bailey went. :(
May 2, 200916 yr Just what is Gossip Girl about, really, it confuses me? I've never watched it, it looks so unappealling. Buzzcocks - I knew there was something i forgot to vote for. Love this show.
