The growing resentment amongst the Pussycat Dolls has finally reached a boil! Multiple sources have repeatedly told us that there is major "tension" in the group, especially over like this, with lead singer Nicole Scherzinger distancing herself from the rest of the girls and their last two singles being released as "The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger." Well, the hit the fan and splattered all over the arena at Britney Spears' concert in Phoenix on Friday night. The Dolls were opening up for Brit Brit and during their set, PCD member Melody Thornton (above), who is from Arizona, took a moment to address the crowd and thank her family in attendance, telling them: "Thank you for supporting me even though Im not FEATURED!!" :eek: Burn!!!!!!! Melody then went on to say "Dont let anyone stomp on your dreams!" Preach, sister. Preach! Nicole shot Thornton the nastiest look and, needless to say, concertgoers tell us that the rest of the Pussycat Dolls performance after that was "Majorly Awkward"! Meow!!!!!!! I cant for melody's speech to show up on youtube :lol: Heres what a concert goer had to say about it I was there last night and yes - it WAS majorly awkward afterwards!!!! It almost seemed like Nicole was trying to show the group that she is who people want to see by trying to have us scream for her more than the other girls. Hmmm <3 I've always loved Melody and Jessica but Nicole is just too good I guess and at least she's making use of what she's got by crediting herself on Jai Ho and Hush Hush. . If Melody wants to earn herself credits then she should step forward and take lead on some of the songs they release or are put on the album. Or get involved in the songwriting and production. Without that they are always going to live under Nicole's spotlight. I'd say in the other girl groups it does come together as a group effort where PCD seems like a solo one, vocals wise but they certainly are unstoppable together when it comes to dancing performances and so on, which I guess is why Nicole hasn't gone completely solo yet because she'd rather have PCD as her 'base' for her musical career instead of taking the risk in releasing her official solo album, which could likely flop and then afterward she won't have PCD for support and she'll have to live with the flop album as well as being on bad terms with the other girls in the group

April 26, 200916 yr I only like Nicole and the 2 blonde ones after that. PCD would be nowhere without Nicole and if i was Nicole i would do exactly the same thing because the other 4 do nothing. If Melody wants more recognition then she should get more stuck in and force them to ive her leads on a song, and not be unprofessional and start slagging her fellow band mates off in public.

April 29, 200916 yr Confirming what I knew all along - Melody DOES have the potential to be huge because her voice is spectacular in my opinion, very Christina-like before she went and over-did it a bit. The only thing that video shows her not to have is CONTROL. She has no control or restraint in her voice at all which is something she'd need to sort if she were to go solo. As for the topic, just LOL. I had a feeling that after Carmit left the cracks would begin to show and it looks like Melody and Jessica are picking up where Carmit left off. :lol:
April 30, 200916 yr WOW! Just... WOW! :mellow: I actually feel REALLY sorry for Nicole after watching the vid :mellow: (and this is coming from someone who has ALWAYS preferred Melody!) Shame really :( Now it means we won't be getting 'Painted Windows' as a single :cry:
