Posted May 4, 200916 yr New releases from The Maccabees, Yusuf, Gallows, Ciara and The Horrors are all challenging for top twenty placings in the albums chart this Sunday, although Bob Dylan looks set for a second week at number one. Dylan’s Together Through Life (Columbia), currently number one, sold around 8,000 units yesterday, giving it the edge over Lady GaGa’s The Fame (Polydor) at the top of the albums chart. The rest of the albums top ten looks largely unchanged, although new releases from The Maccabees (Wall Of Arms [Fiction]), Yusuf (Roadsinger [island]), Gallows (Grey Britain [Warner Bros]), Ciara (Fantasy Ride [RCA]) and The Horrors (Primary Colours [XL]) should all challenge for top twenty placings. On the singles chart Tinchy Stryder feat. N Dubz’ Number 1 (4th And Broadway) looks set to spend a third week at number one, ahead of La Roux’s In For The Kill (Polydor).
