Chart Commentary
Very strong top 3 in this weeks' chart, and admittedly all 3 could be no.1s (hint hint). Leading the troops are Passion Pit, who spend a 3rd consecutive week at the top with 'The Reeling' from their forthcoming album 'Manners' (which I hear has leaked). From what i've heard, 'Manners' is definately worth a punt as both singles and the songs i've heard from it are very good. In second place for a second week is Kasabian's 'Fire', still burning brightly (lulz) and a new entry hot off the press comes courtesy of Jamie T who is actually making his chart debut with 'Sticks n Stones' which is excellent. It's going to be released on the 29th of June as part of his EP with the same name, and young Jamie Treays also has an album due out later this year which, based on this evidence, may well be worth checking out. The Killers are this week's only climbers at 4 and Kasabian's other charted single begins its sad chart decline at 5. Numbers 6 through 9 are all fallers and need no explanation and there's a bonus new entry this week at 10 (though admittedly not a great one. Which is why it's at 10), from chart favourites the Manics who showcase their new material with the so-so 'Jackie Collins...'. Unlike Passion Pit and Jamie T, this one may be best left on the shelf.

Cheers Luc. There's radio rips of Jamie T's new one all over the place, shouldn't be hard to find ^_^ it's quite immense, if you liked his debut stuff there's a 99.9% you'll like 'Sticks n Stones'. As for the Manics, only check it out if you really want to  if you don't hear it, you're not really missing much tbh.

Thanks for commenting ;)
