I definitely have Alex Roots down for a 7th-12th finish...anything less would be a criminal injustice, no matter how good the quality of this final is!

I haven't finished top15 in months and i've just had my worst final finish to date

There is no way i'm going to win.

Hell i'm not even a fave to win, nor am i predicted to come top 10 like at all.

I'll be around 20th as usual

I think d'Ashton are impossible to predict  Just when you think you've comeback with a certain top ten you end up bottom end of the standings. Once again I feel you have an extremely strong entry though.

indeed, I must have had Republique D'Ashton in the top ten odds for at least the last 3 or 4 contests, yet they never do as well as I expect :snif:

Yet the likelihood of 7-12 is tiny

We do try :kink:

I'm starting to think i no longer know what to send. Everytime i think i've found a great track i flop horridly recently.

We never do as well as we expect either.

XII particularly sticks in my mind.

I can't be at all blamed for focusing more on Eurovision this week :smoke: One black heart indeed...

ESC > BJSC

Especially this week.

ESC has had a huge effect on the forum this week.

Although it's still busier than most.

BJSC is a very fast growing forum, i'm glad we made the front page because there isn't many forums bigger than us now :o

BJSC >> ESC on Monday, Wednesday, Friday

ESC >>> BJSC on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday

BJSC > ESC on Sunday due to the final results.

TBH nothing happens in the BJSC on Wednesday, while everyone seems to be analysing the day before on Tuesday...I've always said it was a bad idea to have the two contests running concurrently as one would just suffer.

I'm sorry James, what was that about nobody caring about Eurovision?:P

Basically what I'm trying to say is that, ESC is more important to me whatever day the semis or final is on, BJSC is more important to me on the days a semi or final isn't on.

I don't think there's been a very noticeable lack of activity in here anyway. I think things were quite quiet for last month's contest as well and that didn't have any distractions as such. Maybe people just have less to say about BJSC these days. It's bound to have got quieter now we're missing our spammer. ;)

Of course we've got people like Rich, Pavel and Tron more interested in Eurovision this time but only one of them qualified anyway so it's not like they'd be THAT bothered without Eurovision.

Well, we are some of the most profligate posters in here :P It's definitely a lot quieter this month I think...

Yes, but you and Pavel would probably be taking a backseat in the contest anyway with your DNQs. I'd imagine that I wouldn't be as fussed if I wasn't in the final.

Hmm...can't say I've noticed it. I thought it was quite quiet, as a host, last month. Perhaps it was because I was host and couldn't get as involved with things like odds, predictas etc. It's only got quiet because Liam is gone and this contest is already one of the most memorable (for the wrong reasons) because of that.

If the BJSC Results aren't clashing with the Eurovision Results (i.e. any time but the interval 6pm 16/05 - 9am 17/05 when i'm not gonna be at home) I'm okay and WILL be watching the Results.

And tbh Eurovision forum could've been MUCH more busy than just within 2 hours before and after Semis/Final
