May 16, 200916 yr Go to Eurovision, we'll have a big Buzzjack meet-up :kink: MF might not even be connected to Eurvosion next year... :o Who are we precisely? I hope i'm one of them :kink:
May 16, 200916 yr Interstingly, but i think every country has given Norway at least a point  The least gotten is 2 from Bulgaria.
May 16, 200916 yr Pavel, there's no need to be a rude b-stard about it. :/ James is right. Although it does seem like political allegiances have died down a little this year, it's still very apparent, not just in the Eastern bloc but everywhere. Ireland giving us 10 - 'to our closest neighbours', in the words of the presenter.
May 16, 200916 yr Who are we precisely? I hope i'm one of them :kink: Well, everyone who can I think :cheer:
May 16, 200916 yr I think tonight just proved that this "political" voting plays a very little part in the contest tbh. Three western countries in the top five anyone?
May 16, 200916 yr As if Finland came last, it is a really good song! Sweden came underwhelmingly low too :(
May 16, 200916 yr The least gotten is 2 from Bulgaria. Ooooh It's very early here :kink: Pavel, there's no need to be a rude b-stard about it. :/ James is right. Although it does seem like political allegiances have died down a little this year, it's still very apparent, not just in the Eastern bloc but everywhere. Ireland giving us 10 - 'to our closest neighbours', in the words of the presenter. To be fair, it was only really big points that were a bit predictable, but similar music taste can account for that. The biggest winner ever does say a lot about Norway's popularity.
May 16, 200916 yr I think tonight just proved that this "political" voting plays a very little part in the contest tbh. Three western countries in the top five anyone? 2 in the top 3 as well :kink:
May 16, 200916 yr I think tonight just proved that this "political" voting plays a very little part in the contest tbh. Three western countries in the top five anyone? If political/bloc voting were a sizeable factor then surely Russia and Serbia would be high finishes every single year given they have the most neighbours and former parts of the country now as seperate entities. But Serbia didn't even qualify and Russia never looked like getting anything more than a comfortable mid-table finish. Norway may have benefitted from a Scandanavian vote, but surely they'd all benefit, Finland still came last FFS. Why? Because it was atrocious!
May 16, 200916 yr Interstingly, but i think every country has given Norway at least a point  worst points was.. 2 I think :kink:
May 16, 200916 yr if it was to political voting...Jade would so have been 25th and not 5th :heehee: And we finished 11th... Only 1 country gave us a 12, don't remember which though. If it was so political and everything was 'fixed' we'd not have got a single point from Ukraine, Estonia and a few others, our 'closest neighbours'.
May 16, 200916 yr ESC it is :cheer: Now, to learn Norwegian........ What kind of Norwegian? Nynorsk or Bokmål? :)
May 16, 200916 yr And we finished 11th... Only 1 country gave us a 12, don't remember which though. Armenia I think. Edited May 16, 200916 yr by Mr. Blue Sky
May 16, 200916 yr Wasn't there supposed to be like a panel of votes or something this year? Or did I miss that bit? I was expecting like a panel of judges to give scores!
