If we add the reservations to the amount of confirmations - we could get 31 countries. In my opinion, that's quite a lot for a final, but there would only be about 1/2 people going out in the semis.

It's up to you - You could do semis and have a smaller final or just have a large final with no semis ^_^

If you autoqualify having two semi's of 15 with 11 or 12 going through. I know 15 songs is a small amount to get votes from but it doesn't HAVE to be 10 songs you vote for does it? You could do 8...

I think that V showed that it was quite unnecessary to have Semi to get rid of only 3 songs :blink:

VI also had 29 songs. It didn't have Semis though.

Well people may find finding 10 songs to vote for from just 14 quite challenging. You could go 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 just for the semi. I don't see how it should be such a problem...

The 10 AQs is a bit unfair, no? I could understand if this was a monthly thing, but it's not... and each spin-off is a different theme...., so all songs [except the hosts] should face the chopping block, right?

 

Call me daft, but putting 10 songs straight through kinda takes the excitement away...
