May 24, 200916 yr Eminem's "come back" has proved quite fruitful as it has spawned two #4 hits a top 40 album track and the album has sold around 140-160k. The real test will be the album's overall total sales. I've not heard one positive comment about the album, so I'm not sure it'll be that impressive overall. I guess it really depends if he has any more hits on this album, as singles are what sell albums.

May 24, 200916 yr 19 Paolo Nutini - Candy [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/ATUK087CD.JPG Chart Run: 19 [1 wks] Release date: 18-5-2009 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: ATUK087CD Label: ATLANTIC There was no shortage of new acoustic singer-songwriters emerging from the U.K. in the mid 2000s. However, Scottish teenager Paolo Nutini had a slightly different take on things, bearing the marked influence of Marvin Gaye and Wilson Pickett as well as some usual suspects like David Gray and Damien Rice. Nutini's debut full-length, THESE STREETS, showcased his surprisingly gritty vocals to great effect as well as the undeniably catchy and commercial aspects of his songwriting. - HMV Video here: Chart history (Year peak title): 2006 05 Last Request 2006 20 Jenny Don't Be Hasty 2006 27 Rewind 2007 21 New Shoes 2009 19 Candy Discussion Thread Here Somehow a disapointing showing for Paolo, I guess the record this tune would reach the top 10 this week.

May 24, 200916 yr N-Dubz are a really sick joke, so cheap and tacky. 'Strong Again' is the only vaguely listenable thing they have done.
May 24, 200916 yr BEP's second #1 and one of my faves that they have ever done and should become one of their best selling songs selling another 70k or so this week.

Led by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Will.I.Am., the band also includes two other MCs, Apl.de.Ap. and Taboo, along with vocalist Fergie, and a live backing band. Building a steady buzz with its first two releases, Black Eyed Peas garnered mainstream attention with the 2003 album, ELEPHUNK, which launched Fergie's solo career and helped make Will.I.Am one of the most in-demand producers in hip-hop, pop, and R&B for several years to come. - HMV Video here: track listing 1. He's exspected to sell 600k the first week in the usa, he's truly one of the gretest ever. I like Beautiful, but unless it's properly promoted as the third UK single, it's kind of a flop right now...
May 24, 200916 yr Dizz and Armand both get their second #1s! Dizzee is back on iTunes, so this won't be returning to #1 next week. This could potentially fall down to 5 next week if Boots, Veronicas and Agnes deliver to their full potential. Would guess this will remain #2 though. Love this song, but Bonkers is superior.
