May 28, 200916 yr Sorry, but there is no way Radar will be a summer smash hit in the same vein these others songs are being mentioned. It'll be lucky to go Top 20.
May 28, 200916 yr BEPs - I Gotta Feeling and Keri Hilson - Knock You Down are gonna be the "summer" hits. They're light, breezy and upbeat. None of the other singles mentioned in this thread have what it takes. Hopefully Shakira will score another summer hit too if she gets a move on and releases a single before the end of June.
May 28, 200916 yr The only reason I like Knock You Down is Kanye's bits. Ne-Yo just annoys me at his part, and I dislike Keri in general, but Kanye's bit saves the song completely. Specifically the line 'let the hourglass pass right into ashes'.

It'll be lucky to go Top 20.I, sadly, agree :( It's totally the wrong single choice that isn't even from this era, and should have been released instead of 'Break the Ice'. If she'd released either 'Unusual You' or 'Out From Under' (A Slow-tempo song) then she could have got another Top 10 hit from this era, as people (Me included) are sick of the "Club Bangers" that her label are insisting on releasing for her :drama: Sorry for my little ramble :heehee: and if you can't make any sense of it what-so-ever, then don't worry too much coz I probably can't either :heehee:
May 28, 200916 yr David Guetta has got huge potential. Pixie Lott has been getting some good reviews, there seems to be lot of promotion for her coming up, she could explode, but I think her track is going down the Amy Winehouse-ish route. La Roux - Bulletproof, might just stall top 5, In For The Kill is still hyped up Paloma Faith - Stone Cold Sober has got huge potential, I quite like it, its different from what there is at the moment, but its not everybody's cup of tea. Florence & The Machine - Rabbit Heart will be her biggest hit to date, surely top 5 ==================== Possible flops Radar, her previous tracks are hardly doing anything. Freemasons might just get stuck behind David Guetta And hopefully JLS

May 28, 200916 yr It's a damn shame that Jordin and Guetta are releasing at the same time. They're both amazing songs and should both have a turn at no1. I definitely think they'll be massive - they already make me feel all summery :) La Roux Lazee Feat Neverstone [i want to hate this but it's actually not that bad :/] Pixie Lott
