Amelle was shockingly bad on this performance :o

She was singing over the backing track, you couldn't hear her when she was singing with Tinchy, and her voice sounded weak on the "I'm still loving youuu..." bits.

 

You would expect better from her.

It's not Amelle's fault that Tinchy's entire set was sung over a backing track! Her live parts were brilliant...
T4 had so many ear pieces problems this year they was all holding their ears lol

from where i sat in my livingroom she sounded pretty damned good. And those ad libs were fab :wub: If anyone was "shocking bad" it would be tinchy

And yes I'm sorry but Amelle voice was pretty weak on this performance, would you really say that's the best she can perform ?

 

And Silas, strop calling me pathetic everytime I post something. I like this song A LOT (yes, you read right, I LIKE AMELLE'S SONG A LOT, see, I have no problem saying that at all, it's a brillant song - much better than SB new effort), so I feel interested in commenting her live performance on this song. Nothing wrong with that. I still enjoy this song a lot and hope it's #1 or close to that.

The AF forums get more and more pathetic, you can't post a negative and argumented comment if it's not all LOVE LOVE.

Tinchy wants to return Amelle favour

 

Tinchy Stryder has revealed that he wants to contribute to a new Sugababes track.

 

The chart-topping rapper recently recruited Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah for his new single 'Never Leave You'.

 

"The song was written and I thought it needed a female vocalist. Amelle's got that unique sound to her voice and I thought it would suit the track perfectly," he told DS.

 

"We're on the same label so making it happen was easy - she heard the track, loved it and said yes."

 

Now, having "got along great" with Berrabah while promoting the single, he is keen to return the favour.

 

"You know what, if the Sugababes want me on one of their things and it sounds right for me, I'll do it, man," he said.

 

"I like their previous stuff and I like the new single. It's different to what they've previously done and you have to get used to it, but it's a good song."

 

'Never Leave You' by Tinchy Stryder and Amelle Berrabah is available to download now. Sugababes return with 'Get Sexy' on August 31.

Amelle and Tinchy were today in the Radio 1 Live Lounge and they performed Sweet Dreams / Beat Again and Never Leave You

 

I am in LOVE with Amelle's vocals on the Sweet Dreams/Beat Again mash-up. They really show how great she can sing. :wub:

For reason I thought Amelle would have quite weak live vocals, but she was brilliant in the live lounge, especially when singing the Sweet Dreams/Beat Again medley.

 

She's got a great voice! :wub:
